Her insurance company (Travelers) recommended Old South Construction, and after seeing many positive reviews, we made the best decision by hiring them. Katie/Katelyn, Ashtyn, Rachel, and Will were all phenomenal. Their constant communication and reassurance regarding project timeline, material selections, and collaborating with her insurance adjuster made the entire process smooth and hassle-free. From the construction crew to the front office, everyone single person we interacted with was kind, professional, and respectful. The end result of my mom's home turned out INCREDIBLE. The level of care and attention to detail they put into the work, as if it were their own home, is unmatched by any construction company we've worked with before. We could not have asked for a better outcome. My sister was impressed after constantly hearing us praise about this experience, she ended up hiring them for her own kitchen remodel just a month later. I will absolutely be reaching out to Old South Construction again in the future regarding my own home remodel in the future :)

I don't want to throw around a term like 'crooked' without justification. That being said, Cooper…read morePlumbing brings to mind the reasons why people dread hiring plumbers. Don't be fooled by his 'free estimates' or 'free service calls' It's true, he will physically drive out to your location without expecting to be paid. But once he's at your house, he'll tell you that your problem could be anything, coming from anywhere, and he won't lift a finger until you pay him $500 UPFRONT to authorise his 'discovery.' (If that's not what a service fee is I don't know. BTW those are usually about $75...) We asked him if that covered the repair as well. He answered that it did not. The price for the repair would be a separate, ongoing process that could only be determined after the discovery. He alluded that the whole house might have massive water problems. (We later found out that it was just a little pin-hole leak in a single pipe.) While we were discussing whether or not to accept this outrageous 'service fee,' Cooper and his assitant shouted from the garage that 'This job just won't work out. Sorry!' I told him that this was surprisingly unprofessional. But he got in his van and drove off just the same. In conclusion, Cooper Plumbing has some very suspicious sales tactics that remind me of the Agents who charge you upfront to represent you. A massive red flag that I recommend avoiding.

Absolutely great company for septic installation, I highly recommend their services. This business…read morehas a solid team of men, good quality work, reasonable prices, knowledgeable, professional, and above all they care about you. I'm so glad I took the time to read the reviews before I signed with Helton because they were right. To give you a little background, we moved into our new home in 2023 and discovered it had a failing coffin style septic system from the 1960's. We had a very unique situation with a backyard of 0.183 acres and limited space for large equipment. Getting quotes for a new aerobic septic system with irrigation drip leech field wasn't easy, and was a bit frustrating and discouraging at times. But Helton Ingram Septic made it easy for us to decide with fast responses, thorough quotes, and Patrick answering the rest of my concerns. I wanted to share some pros and cons: Pros: 1. Quality work: Everything was installed with the most upright care. The irrigation leech field had uniform parallel lines, the septic tank pvc pipes all seem to fit snug with all the connection points, and of course the end product with the grading turned out wonderful. 2. Professional and Dedicated: They showed up for 3 full days and worked in the scorching heat (+107 degrees) sweat and all and never complained. They just did the job and did it to the best of their abilities. They never hit our home once even after transporting 3 large septic tanks in a small 5-6 ft clearance space. 3. Courteous- Patrick led most of the communications and he was always friendly and polite to speak with and answered all my questions to the best of his abilities. I was amazed at his positive demeanor even with the heat baking him all day. And he always left by giving me heads up with what was going to happen the next day. 4. Helpful: Patrick was very generous with his time and came out to see our property and suggested some cost savings changes that ultimately worked better in the end than what other installers had originally told me couldn't be done. 5. Reasonable costs: it is expensive to install a septic tank in general, but I feel the price they charged was right on point. 6. Great Team: Everybody on the team played such a vital role and they all worked so well together. 7. Expert Installer: Patrick is one of the best! He's very good with handling all the large equipment. He's confident! He knows how to use everything with the back of his hand and it showed. Plus he is super knowledgeable about all your septic needs and concerns. He even offered suggestions that other companies never did or knew about. Cons: 1. Long wait period: 2. The installed finished system wasn't explained as well at least for maintenance. I was given all the warnings and what to look for but hoping this portion will be explained more in due time. We are so excited to use our new septic system and we are so pleased so far with the results. Hope to do a follow up review with how our aerobic septic system works out after we get more familiar with everything. Thanks Helton Ingram Septic Team!!
