Bought a house and as part of closing we split the cost to have the septic cleaned for the first time in 19 years. The seller picked Helton Ingram Septic to come out, which allegedly they did for $400 on 8/10/2022. Within the first few weeks after we moved in the septic backed up and I couldn't find any disturbed ground indicating they pumped them. So I dug the tank lids up only to find the solids tank was completely full of solids. I called the company and they were no help and ultimately had to pay another company to come out and pump the tanks. This is a delayed post due to forgetting but a neighbor needed their septic tank cleaned and this came up. read more

Absolutely great company for septic installation, I highly recommend their services. This business has a solid team of men, good quality work, reasonable prices, knowledgeable, professional, and above all they care about you. I'm so glad I took the time to read the reviews before I signed with Helton because they were right. To give you a little background, we moved into our new home in 2023 and discovered it had a failing coffin style septic system from the 1960's. We had a very unique situation with a backyard of 0.183 acres and limited space for large equipment. Getting quotes for a new aerobic septic system with irrigation drip leech field wasn't easy, and was a bit frustrating and discouraging at times. But Helton Ingram Septic made it easy for us to decide with fast responses, thorough quotes, and Patrick answering the rest of my concerns. I wanted to share some pros and cons: Pros: 1. Quality work: Everything was installed with the most upright care. The irrigation leech field had uniform parallel lines, the septic tank pvc pipes all seem to fit snug with all the connection points, and of course the end product with the grading turned out wonderful. 2. Professional and Dedicated: They showed up for 3 full days and worked in the scorching heat (+107 degrees) sweat and all and never complained. They just did the job and did it to the best of their abilities. They never hit our home once even after transporting 3 large septic tanks in a small 5-6 ft clearance space. 3. Courteous- Patrick led most of the communications and he was always friendly and polite to speak with and answered all my questions to the best of his abilities. I was amazed at his positive demeanor even with the heat baking him all day. And he always left by giving me heads up with what was going to happen the next day. 4. Helpful: Patrick was very generous with his time and came out to see our property and suggested some cost savings changes that ultimately worked better in the end than what other installers had originally told me couldn't be done. 5. Reasonable costs: it is expensive to install a septic tank in general, but I feel the price they charged was right on point. 6. Great Team: Everybody on the team played such a vital role and they all worked so well together. 7. Expert Installer: Patrick is one of the best! He's very good with handling all the large equipment. He's confident! He knows how to use everything with the back of his hand and it showed. Plus he is super knowledgeable about all your septic needs and concerns. He even offered suggestions that other companies never did or knew about. Cons: 1. Long wait period: 2. The installed finished system wasn't explained as well at least for maintenance. I was given all the warnings and what to look for but hoping this portion will be explained more in due time. We are so excited to use our new septic system and we are so pleased so far with the results. This company was contracted to come out and work on the septic system before I moved in or even began looking at houses in February. They supposedly did the work. When I put an offer on the house in March we noticed there was an issue with the system and they were called to check the system. They came out and said all was good. Purchased the house. In first week of May the red alarm came on. I called them. They said someone would be out in TWO days. In the second day the "technician" called around FIVE pm and asked if I still needed him because he didn't think he could make it out for another two days!!!! I advised him the light went out, which it did and to just forget it. He seemed overjoyed he didn't have to work. A week later my toilet stopped working and the septic is backing up into my neighbors yard so I called and left them a message. NOBODY even bothered calling back. This place is not the place to call if you need something fixed and fixed correctly. Enjoy Memorial Day, but don't come to my house unless you plan on taking a turd canoe home. Also, the parent contractor who contracted this place didn't bother calling me back for 3 days. His name is Dustin from DFW construction. Still have a septic issue and this company has still never called back... Update. The home warranty company sent work order to Helton that I put in for septic pumping because tanks are overflowing on June 8th. They accepted and will be able to come out June 17th... lol read more

Excellent Customer Service. Received an appointment within 24 hours at my home in Weatherford, Texas. The Consumer Advocate Brandon that they sent out was polite, knowledgeable about his job, explained what was wrong with the septic air pump and within 15 minutes he installed the new pump. Made sure the work area was clean and took the old pump away. He gave us the manual that came with the product so we can file. I like their business card. Received prompt service to pump my septic system and they were the lowest price quoted. I wasn't home when they came to the house but my wife said the guy was real courteous and took about an hour to complete. You can rush the pumping and not get it cleaned thoroughly, so I was glad to hear he took his time. read more

Terrible customer service! Paid $300. for a Chlorinator to find it was homemade of PVC, not approved by the State, and did not work! Service techs would come out but never did their jobs correctly. When I ask her about the Chlorinator it turned into a bad situation as she defended it. I had paid up for the year and told her to just finish out 2015 in June. October 27th, 2015 I called to ask why I had not had service this year, and was told "a bad dog notice was on my account at the office". I do not own a dog, and when there is one I dog sit it's a healer that would lick you to death. Told her I did not know where that note came from in her office but I had no service. AGAIN A SCREAMING person on the phone! I told her to forget it, I don't need their services!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY, hire a PROFESSIONAL!!! read more

DO NOT USE THEM!!! They were supposed to repair a broken pipe on my septic for the house I was buying. Come to find out, all they did was replace the elbow and tee on the outlet. Did a very poor job of sealing the 3" pipe in the 4" outlet hole, and did not even connect the outlet to the leach lines! Two months later, tank is over flowing and sewage leaking into yard and when I called Ingram to get someone out to see the horrible job that was done, the lady who answered the phone said I would have to wait four days for someone to come out and take a look. I told her I can't leave the hole and sewage in the yard like that so she said do what you think you need to do and hung up on me!!! HORRIBLE COMPANY, DO NOT USE THEM!!! read more

Dawn the "Office Manager" who also "WEARS THE PANTS" in the company cant seem to get information from her Techs or her husband to make the necessary notes on your account to insure your renter does not authorize work to be done. I was charged $20 for 3 minutes of thier time and they were ALREADY ON THE PROPERTY doing an inspection! When you complain, it becomes YOUR fault for NOT TALKING TO HER DIRECTLY because she "WEARS THE PANTS" and SHE was not told.
