And if you have an active child that has moved away at college age and doesn't get seen they will drop them as a patient and tell you they can schedule you in 7+ months! I would assume the doctors would not approve of this treatment for their patients, but it's all about billing and dollars now. No one cares that your child has been a patient since they were 4.

They had to update my chart from when I had visited an urgent care in the network several years ago. Once was checked in I was taken immediately to an exam room. The nurse came in within 5 minutes of being in the room to take my vitals and stuff. The doctor was in shortly after to do an exam, etc. From start to finish I would say that I was in and out in about 30-45 minutes. Very clean practice and the staff were extremely professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone in the area.

In any event I rested until Tuesday then came to the Ascent. I was wheeled in with their wheelchair. I was in so much pain the doctor indicated to me just on site alone I had RÀ and said no I would not let him drain my knee. He gave me a prescription to have bloodwork done in the morning at St Joe. By that night not only did the eve lab work come in confirm diagnosis but his office called me to schedule an appointment and medications were already called into CVS. For me who just arrived from CO this is the most efficient diagnosis I have ever had. Not only did I have an excellent RA doctor up the street but an extremely competent doctor heading up the urgent care as well. I highly recommend this office from school physical to a Evie if a challenging condition. I've spent a year going to another facility spent hundreds on office calls and never received even a referral to anyone competent. This is a great place and he is super nice.

Overall the atmosphere of the whole clinic/center is relaxed and laid back. There's a television in the waiting room and everything feels clean and up to date. I did not receive any physician care here but I did take advantage of the walk-in lab to get blood drawn. And when I say "drawn blood" I mean TWELVE vials (my new doc is apparently extremely thorough). The woman working at the lab was awesome. She was a little snarky but in a completely accessible warm, joking way. She was meticulous with checking and double-checking all the labs that were ordered. I warned her about my veins being crap (at most places, they stab into my arm and then "dig around" continually moving the needle under my skin and stabbing every which way until they finally get a vein - I don't mind needles or pain but it's sickening). This lady, on the other hand, felt both my veins and was careful to choose a small needle. She stuck me once, precisely, right into my vein, and got a good draw. THANK YOU, LORD. Next time I need vampirical services, I won't hesitate to return.
