EVgo makes this an easy stop because I can charge the car while wandering around the outdoor shopping center, use a clean air conditioned bathroom, grab refreshments or a quick bite and browse the stores. I especially like stopping at 3Natives for a healthier option, with wraps and bowls that make much more sense to me than the usual mall food. I always check Macy's Last Act too, because I refuse to pay full retail when patience usually pays off. One thing I found particularly interesting was how culturally diverse the crowd felt. I noticed a strong South Asian and Middle Eastern presence, along with a mix of families and shoppers that gave the center more character than I expected from a suburban shopping destination. I enjoy that kind of people watching because you get a little glimpse into how different communities are living, shopping and spending their time. I'm still mostly browsing rather than buying, but between the EV charging, good food options and people watching, Wiregrass has turned out to be a surprisingly useful stop for me.

Then it was time for her to leave, so Dawn took over, helped me go through a couple of sizes, loaned me a tester shirt, and took videos so I could coordinate with my advisor. Donna Nelson was a God send! I was in so much pain in my feet from arthritis I was in tears. After…read moregoing to a podiatrist 5 days earlier and purchasing $50 inserts, my feet had gotten worse instead of better. After working several hours and hurting, I decided, to hell with the podiatrist I needed to go try Happy Feet Plus in Wesley Chapel Florida, a 40 minute drive from the house. I walked in the store and was greeted by Donna. Donna explained the scanning process and revealed my true show size (8 EE), she placed the correct inserts in my old tennis shoes, my feet were 100% better! I haven't had relief in so long that I thought I was going to be forever crippled with pain and in a wheel chair. Donna then recommended a pair of sandals, since they didn't have any work or casual shoes in my size in the store, I put them on and what relief, to be able to walk again without the sharp pain radiating from my feet. After spending quality time with Donna, I walked out with two pairs of shoes and inserts for my old shoes. Donna spent a lot of time with me and I am so grateful for her understanding and her help. I've always had wide feet and had a hard time finding shoes that fit growing up. When I had to shop for shoes before, I would pass the Happy Feet Plus stores thinking it had "old people shoes" BOY I was wrong. I am now a permanent customer forever! I will say the shoes were a little pricey but they are high quality and I would had paid any price for the relief from the pain. Thank you Donna!
