We browsed around the store anyway and I was very impressed by the concept. Many people come in here for foot support. You tell staff what foot issues you are having, and they will figure out solutions on why your foot is having the issues, find you a shoe and or insert to help your gait. They have an area where you can walk to test out the feel I'm guessing before you make your purchase. They have men and women shoes, sandals, socks, accessories and apparel. I was looking for a new pair of athletic shoes for me and my partner, so we came to Fleet Feet St. Charles for the first time. We also had fitID today - the scanning is free. Danny helped us with the fitting process. He was so kind and helpful. He went over the fitting information thoroughly after the scan. He also offered my partner to try a couple pairs of shoes they have in stock. Unfortunately, I was not sold on either of them. I ended up purchasing Feetures socks here since they are having promotion "buy 4 get 5th pair free". The store is very clean and nice arrangement. They carry variety of brands like Hoka, Brooks, On, etc. Overall, I was very pleased with their customer service. I definitely recommend Fleet Feet! I love Fleet Feet. I have been to this location before to pick up shoes that another location didn't have in my size. Today I was here to recycle running shoes. There is a charity that does this and Fleet Feet is one of their drop off locations. I was a little behind and today I dropped off 4 pairs of shoes. I cycle my shoes so I always have shoes in various states between new and very used. I will be back for my next pair of Hoka One Ones! I also love the Feetures socks they sell! read more

The woman who helped me was so sweet and intentional! She was obviously well versed and super polite even though my mother and I came in for fittings just 30 minutes from close. She even stayed late to help us. (Side note. I went running yesterday and it felt like I was running on clouds.) the kind woman who helped me shared lots of helpful information that I didn't know about running shoes, insoles, and appropriate running socks. I normally run one to 2 miles every morning prior to my weightlifting workout and for the first time in years, I was able to complete my run without suffering from foot pain afterwards. I have my eyes set on a 5K before the end of summer! I plan to use my $15 coupon to buy more socks or a different pair of the shoes I purchased in a different color! Great place to get running shoes. Even though I'm not a runner, I am on my feet about 10 hours a day. They fit your your feet to the shoe best designed for your instep, walk or how your feet are prone. So they are more comfortable then running to any old shoe store and grabbing the prettiest or most fashionable shoe. They also sell socks. I love Feetures! They are designed for your left/right foot. They give great arch support, my arches don't ache as much in days after wearing theae. I've been training for a 5k and had recently developed knee pain so I knew I needed to get new shoes. Everyone told me this was the place to go and I was not let down. The service was impeccable. First, measurements of my feet were taken. From there, it was determined I needed custom insoles for an arch issue. Not a problem. I had two women helping me try on shoes (as in they slide them on your feet and tie them) and they watched my stride and helped me find the right shoe, even though it took 5-6 pairs. After I mentioned I'd had issues running as a woman on the busty side, they offered a sports bra fitting. I didn't think they would even have one in my size but they actually had 3 different styles for me to try on and compare after I was measured. The worker who helped with that was courteous and professional and in the end, the bra is a lot better than what I was working with at Target. This place is great for runners of all speeds and levels. I'm a slow moving chubster who is learning to run and they couldn't have been more supportive. My only advice would be to get there before school lets out because all the cross-country kids will be pouring in then. This place has a great rewards program so if you have two people needing shoes, send in one person first and use the rewards on the second when it hits your inbox about 3 days later. read more

Another great visit to fleet feet! I was once again very happy with everything. I was prepared to make this a quick visit, because I'm in love with my current running shoe. However, Nike discontinued that shoe (every runner's worst nightmare!) so I had to find a new shoe. The man was really thorough and super helpful in finding me a shoe that would be comparable to the one I love. I have to say he did a great job; I walked out of there with a different shoe, but one that I think will be great. My only complaint is that I wish they'd build a Fleet Feet that was closer to me! Awesome running store with locations in Fenton, Chesterfield, and St. Charles. If you are new to running or new to the area, this is the place to go for your shoes. The staff is really knowledgeable and helpful, and they take the time to properly fit you. They don't suggest the most expensive shoe just cause its pricey, but instead, measure your feet, watch you run, and allow you to take the shoes for a quick test run outside the store. Aside from shoes, they have all the running apparel you could need, along with other accessories. Yes, it is in the giant strip mall in Chesterfield - but its not hard to find. Its between the Lowes and the Subway. I've heard really good things about their training programs as well. They will prepare you for a marathon or half-marathon, and they work with all skill levels. I really liked this place. If you're serious about your running and comfort it's worth coming in. I'm a cheapskate and I knew these shoes would be expensive but for comfort, and I hope to see reliability I only got them a few days ago, it seems to be the best around. They take you through a comprehensive foot test seeing how you walk and what the shape of your foot is. I thought the woman helping me was on commission for how friendly and patient she was. I'm a chatty person. I am not affiliated with them nor do I know someone from there I just heard about it like 5 years ago from a coworker who runs marathons and did cross country in high school. Final thoughts: shout out to Ashlynn who was peak professional and relatable. If she so desired she could go into commissioned sales because she was very knowledgeable and professional. While training for the Lewis and Clark Half Marathon, I recently went to Fleet Feet for a hydration belt and some Sharkies. I was a little unsure about which hydration belt to get when I was approached by Alex. She was extremely knowledgeable about how each of the hydration belts worked and gave me the pros and cons of each. After I selected one, she helped me fit it so it would be comfortable for my next run. She also showed me how easy it was to adjust should I find it uncomfortable after my run. When I was selecting the Sharkies, she also suggested some of the other hydration supplements. Alex, explained that she was in the process of getting her nursing degree and stressed the importance of keeping yourself hydrated, especially in the summer time while training. She said that going with the Sharkies was a great way to replenish electrolytes. However, I needed to make sure I have some sort of electrolyte replacement in my water bottles as well. Keeping two bottles with just water, she said to break a Nuun tablet in half and use for the other two bottles of water. I have had nothing but great experiences with the staff at Fleet Feet. I had gone into there before because I was getting some severe blistering. I thought it may be the shoes I had just bought, but it was because I was wearing two pairs of socks. One of which were cotton. Cotton socks are a big no-no when trying to run, especially long distances. They recommended some socks made from synthetic materials that help pull the moisture away from your feet. While I checked out, they said that should the socks not work, I could bring the shoes back and I could be fitted for a different pair. Sure enough, the socks worked and my shoes are AWESOME! Again, I've had nothing but positive experiences there. Because their staff is very educated about their products and various sports, I will most definitely be going back to Fleet Feet! read more

I love the shoe fitting process! Barb helped me and she was so helpful, informative, and fun. I really felt helped & heard. I couldn't believe there is a place you can go to talk about what it is like to be in running shoes & how that experience can be the best experience possible. Bard taught me all about feet & my feet in general, had me try a few pairs of shoes, had me try them with one shoe on one foot & a different shoe on the other, to help me decide, and run in them! Once I decided, she taught me how to best tie my shoes to meet the structure of my foot & reduce any discomfort I might typically have with shoes. She also put strong tape on the inside of my toe area because I am, as she described, a "toe popper" - which is why my shoes get holes in them where the toe pops up while running or walking. All in all, I would highly recommend. I love my shoes and I love the difference in makes in my exercise.
