Fleet farm used to be the place where you could find virtually anything you could have ever needed. The store formerly had staff who were experts in their area and held general knowledge about product categories throughout the store and where given merchandise could be found. As time carries on, however, Fleet Farm has the aesthetic of a liquidation store where certain merchandise areas look as if they have been raided and other areas will have merchandise overflowing. Of course, the things you need tend to fall in the former category. Staff now are privy to send you on a wild goose chase to find items that once would have been on the shelves. Also, over the past few years the layout of the store has been changed in the most illogical fashion. My biggest critique is the pet department where you might find supplies in one of God knows how many aisles. This store will be one that I remembered being much better "back in the day." It truly is a shell of its former self. read more

This store is so in organized it pathetic. Everything is off balance. Self check has 2 self check stations, but the merchandise in the center is so tight you can't get past the customer at the 1st one to get to the second one. So you wait Buy something that requires you to go thru guard gate you get a receipt for the guard but none for you. I could go on with more but I truly know no one. Rally care's anymore. I'm done with this store. read more

This fleet farm has a terrible general manager. I was there today for a sale on dewalt 20volt bare tools. Buy a bare tool receive a free 5ah battery. I pick the tool and take them to the register. It doesn't ring up the right way. Cashier has the the head manager come over she knows nothing about the sale. she goes to the back comes back out and said this is not included in the sale. I asked why as i seen no exclusions listed. Her response was corporate said so. I asked for any explanation she gave none. I asked for the number to corporate she told me to look it up myself. Nice customer service. This is a repeated problem at this store. I have asked for help finding items in the past and I get its down there. One other item was up in extra inventory and the store employee told me its up there and left the aisle. They once lost 500 1 inch foam brushes, 3- 50lb boxes of pole barn nails. Time to be done with this store. read more

If they don't have it, you don't need it. That's what I've been told. Well then I guess I don't need anything then. Nothing is ever in stock. Then if you're lucky enough to find what you're looking for, you'll probably be waiting in a line that's 5-6 customers deep, because they'll only have 1-2 registers open. I don't know why I waste my time here. Might as well drive to Eau Claire. read more

"If we don't have it, you don't need it" as their ad says on the radio. I guess no one needs to shop here as they never have anything. Terrible customer service. Better off shopping at ACE Hardware where they have just about everything you will need. read more

About had it with this store. Customer service is a sham at best. Shelves are empty half the time with specials not stocked. Very surly inefficient inconsiderate staff if you can even find someone working. A very far cry form what the founder of the store wanted his business to be. Best advice is for anyone to simply stay away or spend a little more at another store than deal the rude people that work in this store. read more

I've shopped at this store most of my life (I remember as a little kid going here for farm supplies for our dairy farm) and it was always a store where we got what we needed. Since the new ownership and the new store in Eau Claire opened, the shelves have gotten more and more bare. Some of the essentials that I've always counted on aren't there when I go in (things like chicken feed, bolts, pliers even). Tonight my husband went in for some parts and said the tool aisle was half empty. Why are they not restocking things? Is this their way of justifying closing the Menomonie store? I preferred to shop locally but when I drive 20 miles to town to get a thing and they don't have it, I'll be moving on to other stores like Ace Hardware in Baldwin or online. Things need to change if they want people to shop here. read more

This was the end of fleet farm for me. Their customer service is awful. Brianna at the courtesy counter was really rude to my husband and I when we asked her to take a sensor off a box. We told her thank you multiple times for her help even after she was rude to us and all she did was roll her eyes. that isn't the first time We have had horrible customer service there either. people have bad days but honestly all we wanted was a collar for our dog and now we aren't going back in there. read more

Their car wash collapsed on my vehicle. I was shaken up but very nice to the people there while they filled out the incident report, they apologized profusely for the damage their machine caused, etc. A month later I get a letter stating they aren't liable for the damage to my car. I call their insurance company only to find out that Fleet Farm corporate made the decision to deny my claim. I feel you make a statement by where you do and don't spend your money. I'll never spend money there again. A company that is willing to take my money but feels no responsibility to their customers in return is not a company that deserves my money, or anybody else's for that matter. read more

You would be hard pressed to find another store that is more helpful with the customers, more pleasant to work with (even on a crazy Black Friday), or have a better selection of goods. I love the Menomonie store! read more

Fleet feet is always easy to work with. They have very good prices for embroidering clothing, I have used them a good amount of time, and will continue to use them for any of my screen printing/ embroidery needs. Super friendly owners and staff as well. read more

Here is a quote from the about us page. "customers have trusted us to provide everything they need for the jobs and joys of daily life." I have been shopping at the Menomonie store for over 20 years. I have never seen a business go down hill so fast like this store has. The shelves are bare all the time and all the poor employee's can do is apologize for no products on the shelves. Now, I don't know if this is a corporate problem, or a local manager problem. All I know is, when the Millls family owned it, there was never a problem like this. I go to the Menomonie store with a list, and leave with hardly nothing i needed. I then have to drive to Menards in Eau Claire, or other stores to fill my list. Fleet Farm doesn't realize how much money they are losing by not keeping the shelves stocked. It's the beginning of the heating season and most all the Superior premium pellets are gone, (as of 11/2/2019) as is most all pellet stove supplies. Nuts and bolt bins are empty, one day all the spark plugs were gone because of a "reset" I was told. There is also not near the amount of options on products as there used to be. I also have seen a lot of loyal employee's leave earlier than they would have liked, so there must be some company policies that have changed also. I would rather shop at Blaines Farm and Fleet, (Rice Lake, and Eau Claire) rather than Fleet Farm any more. I'm just sad that the Menomonie store is this bad. This town has nothing to offer any local customers anymore. read more
