The actual experience aside, my mums nail varnish has completely come off and it is only midday the following day. To make matters worse, I called to explain and they were in no way apologetic, I asked for a mobile so I could send pictures and just asked for a refund for her manicure only. They refused and had no interest in seeing what the problem was. On top of all this, they are overworked, the place is a tip and are actually quite expensive (£59 I was charged for shellac mani pedi) Just to be clear, his is in relation to Kimmys Nails on East Street. I managed for over a month and took a trip to Creations to get my nails done professionally. I was so excited to finally have nails and there were so many other options, patterns, colours and styles to choose from that i was a bit overwhelmed and opted for the safe bet of the French Manicure. It wasn't terribly expensive, and there are great set deals in Creations which give you the chance to have four different parts of your body pampered for only £20.

The nail tech removed way too much callous so one of my heels was tender for about 10 days. My nails were unevenly shaped. The polish, which, ultimately is the least important aspect of a good pedicure, was sloppy. Nope, no joy here.

Not all do the move you around for each part of the process which is confusing (a bit like speed dating) but the finish was terrible. Most of the white tips had been applied bent, when I asked the manager to fix it she said there was nothing she could do about it and is wasnt her problem. When I asked her for a reduction as I wasnt willing to pay the full price for a shabby job she said she would rather cut them off. After waiting the whole process took over an hour! :O she did them wrong I wanted glitter applied on them too and she said I didnt tell her! But i told the first person who started my nails. When a guy came over to check if my nails were dry he noticed the terrible finish on them and started shouting in chinese and about 5 of the people in there came over all to feel how bobbly my nails were. But she wasnt bothered and didnt even offer to fix them when I told her to look at the rubbish finish. SHOCKING AND HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I WILL NEVER RETURN HERE!
