I normally don't write reviews unless a company does an exceptionally poor job. My belief is…read moresimple, when you pay someone a good amount of your hard earned money, the job should be done right. There are exceptions, though, and Lisa is definitely one of them. Obviously, Lisa and her team did a fantastic job with the landscaping. She presented me with three different design options, worked with me to stay within my budget, and then executed the project exactly as she explained she would. She even moved my project up on the schedule after I mentioned I was planning to sell my house soon, which I really appreciated. What really stood out, though, wasn't just the quality of the work, it was the communication. It was clear, transparent, and consistent before, during, and even after the project. That level of professionalism is surprisingly rare in the home improvement industry. I own a house that was built in 1887, and over the past eight years I've hired countless companies for projects including a new deck, porch, fencing, painting, paver installation, and just about everything else you can think of. One of the most frustrating parts of working with companies in this industry is the lack of organization and communication. They're usually quick to collect the deposit, but after that you're left constantly following up for project start dates, updates, and progress. Working with Lisa was the complete opposite. She was organized, proactive, and always kept me informed. It was honestly refreshing. If you want to roll the dice and deal with the same frustrations I experienced with two other landscaping companies before finding Lisa, go for it. But if you'd rather save yourself the time, stress, and uncertainty, do yourself a favor and call Lisa. I couldn't recommend her more.

She was very prompt in all her communication…read more She came over and did an assessment, took measurements and gave me several options for general landscaping style. She then took those and made three very detailed designs in video format. From there we went back and forth a few times as I wanted a combination of designs. Throughout the entire process Lisa was patient and also answered several questions I had about plants. She oversaw the installation and came back the next day to tidy everything up. The installation went very smoothly and we are in love with our new front yard and parkway. I highly recommend Lisa for any landscaping projects! We also love supporting small businesses and are happy we went with Lisa.

After demolishing an old porch structure, we needed a professional to design and landscape our back…read moreand side yards. My husband and I are both avid gardeners and we wanted a design that would create new garden spaces to and complement the look of the house. Concerning for us was that much of ground consisted of packed clay and debris that drained poorly and needed to be excavated and amended prior to walkway installation.   Wave Outdoors responded quickly to our request for an estimate and provided stellar customer service throughout all stages of the project. The owner, Brian, listened carefully to our requests and expectations. We were especially impressed by Brian's keen design sensibility, knowledge of native plants, and enthusiasm for the project. Brian presented us with two professional-looking plans, both of which cleverly addressed the problem areas in the yard using existing materials (flagstones, plants, etc.) and, most importantly, stayed within our modest budget - which was not easy given the long list of things we wanted accomplished. With only short notice, Brian worked our project into his busy Spring schedule. The landscaping team was courteous, professional, and incredibly hard-working. A project that easily could have taken four days was completed in half the time. The landscaping team exceeded our expectations in terms of identifying problems and solutions that arose during the actual construction. For example, the team demolished and removed three buried concrete pillars that were found only after construction had started. Moreover, the worksite was kept clean and orderly throughout the day and we received zero complaints about noise or equipment from the neighbors. Brian made regular inspections throughout the day to answer our questions and ensure that things went smoothly. Another factor leading us to recommend Wave Outdoors was the craftsmanship and quality construction materials that were used. For example, the walkways form an even and continuous plane and stepping stones fit snugly. The grass sod, compost, and mulch that were brought in appear to be well-sourced and very high-quality. The final landscape is aesthetic and provides excellent drainage away from the house, a beautiful new walkway, and adjacent garden beds that are already attracting pollinators. We could not be more pleased and will be contacting Wave Outdoors again soon for another project!

Our backyard started as a rough, outdated space with an old shed that had become a major eyesore, a lawn overrun with weeds, and a large amount of old concrete that needed to be removed. One of the biggest challenges was that all of the demolition debris had to be taken out through a very tight access point, but the crew handled it efficiently without any issues. From start to finish, Daniel and his team were organized, professional, and incredibly hardworking. They removed the shed, demolished and hauled away all of the old concrete, cleared the overgrown lawn, and completely transformed the space. The quality of the materials they used was excellent. They built a beautiful stone patio exactly the way we envisioned it, installed an elegant pathway accented with Mexican river rock, and created two separate areas--one for our pool and another with fresh sod for a small lawn. The finished project turned what was once an unusable backyard into a peaceful retreat where our family loves spending time. What impressed me most was the pride they took in their work. Every detail was carefully completed, and the craftsmanship really shows. Their pricing was fair, and after seeing the final result, I can confidently say the project was worth every penny. If you're looking for a landscaping company that is reliable, professional, fairly priced, and delivers outstanding results, I highly recommend Santanas Landscaping.
