It starts with communication. Chris is accessible; he listens -- really listens -- and gets back to you in a timely manner (Sherri runs his office, and she is a phone call away). Chris is a problem-solver who thinks on his feet. He is a man of his word; if he tells you he will do something, he will do it on time, or before deadline, and will deliver, or overdeliver, with expertise and craftsmanship. His framing work is so good that we had other contractors, like our electrician, say, "Wow, I've been on a lot of job sites, but this guy's work is exceptional." The same can be said of Chris's crew. They work very hard, are on-time, consistent, pay attention to detail, keep a neat and orderly job site, and, like their boss, each worker knows exactly what he is doing, especially Chris's foreman.
We had two thirds of our upstairs completely removed, then rebuilt from the floor up. DARMAN CONSTRUCTION did an amazing job. It's lovely to look at, and we are very proud of the result. We recently went on to ask them do some of the inside finishing work, and those results, too, are outstanding. Both my father and brother were in the construction business (contractor/master carpenter), so I am not easy to please.
