Instead, I was quoted approximately $6,000 to replace the engine after it failed shortly following service at your shop, and I declined that proposal. Had a no-cost replacement been offered, I would have gladly accepted it. I had invested most of my savings into that car. It was my first major purchase. When I had Avi take a look, he made sure that the prior transmission guy didn't mess anything up. After he confirmed it's another issue, he reset my codes and had me come back to narrow the problem. Avi mentioned instead of throwing money randomly at problems, let's isolate it and fix the actual issue at hand. After a few back and forths, Avi narrowed it down to a failed pump. He initially bought me a cheaper pump for value (trying to save me money), but after that one ended up being a dud, Avi bought a new one that cost more and now my car is running smoothly and did not charge me for the first failed pump. I appreciate his approach, his honesty, and he really isn't out to price gauge you on anything. I really recommend Avi and his team if you're having car issues!
