The place has a typical Irish pub feel and supposedly they brew their own beer. I did not try the beer and am not a beer person so I cannot speak for it in that regard. I did order some fries though, which left much to be desired. The cheese sauce was bland, as was the side of sauce that came with the dish. In addition to there being an overall lack of flavor, the potatoes were cut in very inconsistent sized pieces, some appearing to be almost half a potato. This is problematic because potatoes take time to cook, and when you cook a half a potato along side a small slice, one of them is either going to be burned or way under-cooked. So half the plate was under-cooked potatoes. The food did come out fast though. The other thing that irked me was happy hour goes until 9 PM, which here really means 8:50 PM. I ordered at 8:55, and I had a feeling this was going to be problematic because speed and customer service aren't a common thing in Chile, and I was correct. Not only did the bartender wait 5 minutes to ring up the drink, but the computer system was 5 minutes fast, therefore causing me to miss the happy hour pricing. I didn't bother arguing with her as that doesn't generally get you more than a shrug, so I just paid full price. The combination of the bland and under-cooked food, and the intentional disregard to the end of happy hour makes it a place I don't need to return to. In a city as big as Santiago there's plenty of other places to go. If you're a beer person though, give the beer a try, but skip the food. read more
