I've been coming to the Hialeah location for over 10 yrs. The Ribs or Southwestern Chicken Chipotle Sandwich are great. This is a VERY popular place, especially on game days; be prepared for long wait times on these days. Happy hour on the bar, is also pretty cheap and popular; come early before the bar fills up. I detest coming here, due to the fact that if you went to any school in Hialeah (and I mean literally ANY) then you're automatically walking right into a reunion of sorts. Always the same faces and crowds, and the wait is ALWAYS over an hour any time after 6PM. However, the food is really great and their deals are spot on. I dont' care if it's the one in Hialeah (Fav one, my old stomping grounds), Bird Rd, Doral or the Kendall, this has been my watering hole since I've been 18! The bartenders, waiters, and staff are always nice, attentive and efficient. Food has been consistently good through the years. For me the best wings in town. The baby back ribs fall off the bone. I can't, on general principle, give this place more than two stars. And I'll admit right here, right now: my opinion is utterly biased because Hialeah is not my most favorite of places, and it feels like the worst of people in Hialeah come to this particular Flanigan's. You get pretty good lunch specials and a Happy Hour that really isn't a Happy Hour at all: it's Flanigan's telling its customers after a certain time, "Hey, fellow drunkards: all of our drinks are half off." Really, in that regard, Flanigan's delivers value. But I don't know, man... You all know me somewhat by now. If nothing else, my reviews will suggest that I don't think myself high and mighty. In fact, growing up, my mother had a little saying that to this day, she still utters: "Mejor que yo es la tierra, y la piso todo los dias." Translation: "Dirt is better than I am, and I step on it everyday." What she's basically saying is that no one is better than anyone else. That the best things on Earth are the things around us that we, for lack of a better way of putting it, poison. Yet here we are. I TOTALLY live by this creed. I'm just a regular guy with regular aspirations and three Coors Lights t-shirts to his name. Freaking THREE. The problem with this particular Flanigan's is that you get seedy people who don't really accept that they're seedy. I mean, I LIKE seedy people. But seediness is really something that you have to be willing to own. If you can't own it, than what you end up affecting is something of a "tough guy" attitude cohabiting with a total d-bag facade. Can I say d-bag? I don't know. Really, I restrain myself a lot when it comes to Yelp. I doubt d-bag will get me in any trouble. My point is this: Flanigan's is an average to above average sports chain that offers a lot in the way of a good time if you can find the right one. So when you're hanging out with friends, talking, drinking, laughing, and suddenly hunger strikes...THIS is the place to head out to. Everywhere else is closed at 3am but Flanigan's? This has been my place for a while now. The food is excellent, always a hit. But In every endeavor there is always a but. Ive noticed this several times and yesterday I noticed it was being done to another couple that was sitting there across from us at the bar, yes the place is always busy so its just faster to sit at the bar. This seems to occur only at the bar it seems. The bottom line is that if you go there with an attractive young lady or if you're an attractive young lady be ready to recieve the cold shoulder from the ladies working behind the bar. Several things happened which at first I didn't catch on until I had the guy sitting next to me tell me."Your girls hot, thats why they're acting like that". After that it was easy to compare the service we were getting and the better treatment the other patrons were getting. This place is just okay. The food is okay and the atmosphere is okay. Nothing really stands out to me. I have been to this location half a dozen times and it just doesn't do it for me. This isn't just a bar with food. It's a great bar with great food! There really aren't much places you can go in Hialeah at 3am a Friday or Saturday night and still be able to order ribs, pasta, steak, and seafood. The mouth watering BBQ wings, ribs, and chicken are a hit. The rib rolls are a nice touch, they are egg rolls stuffed with rib meat, chedder cheese and sauteed onions. The place for being packed when I went ( 1:00 AM ) was very clean and tidy. The bartenders were on fire, never had to wait more than a minute to be acknowledged and get a drink order in. Diana, Aubrey, and Judi were extra nice and with the place full still were friendly and had million dollar smiles. Oh last but not least you can't go home without trying the Banzai Brownie. The problem is the main boss or owner. Does not take constructive feedback well and is defensive. Not a good vibe or image. A total turn off. Since the reopen Flannigans has been really focused on it's to go orders and I want to say that their system for that has been very smooth. The seating situation outdoors for the pandemic is great under short notice, however the people in charge of seating larger parties need to improve their system. The staff was very helpful, however one person (JoJo) was rude and raised her voice at us about our wait times several times because we weren't at the 1 hour mark. She was very bossy, and after we waited the one hour she had informed us we would have our 2 tables. However as soon as one hour came she mentioned that in 15 minutes to table should open up. 30 minutes go by and nothing, literally two hours we waited for a table and she was still not being polite. She said "well this is a new system and there's gonna be some flaws in it and we have other parties to seat sorry I can't do anything."I find this completely unacceptable because I had other things to do and I had planned to be at Flanigan's for no more than two hours instead I waited for two hours and had to cancel my plans to visit my sick grandfather at the hospital and bring him food because visitor hours ended. I really want to let Flanigan's know they disappointed not only my five-year-old niece and made her stand outside for over two hours in mosquito humid weather but also I want to thank Jojo for her unbelievable customer service.... I have a love/hate relationship with this place. Sometimes everything is right on..the food is great/the service is great and the ambiance is great...but then, there are days when all is crap! The last few times I have been there, I've been so disappointed by the place I used to love spending my lazy Sunday afternoons drinking cheap $1 Coors.. I've received really bad service, to the point my husband and I walked out b/c we were waiting 1.5hrs on a chicken philly and wings. I like coming here because they close at 3 on weekdays and I can come and have a drink and a meal after dinner. Aubrey is the best, attentive and knowledgeable. Every night that I come though they make a point of turning the lights on at maximum brightness and turning the music and TVs off a whole 30 minutes before close. The kitchen closes at 230 so while eating my food I have to eat with all of the lights shining in my face. Makes the whole experience very disappointing regardless of how good the food and drinks are. Also, the shut the bathrooms down at 2:45 and do not allow anyone to use it, so after last call you cannot use it. They have the cop stand in front and do not allow anyone entry. So after drinking and eating you can't even use the bathroom. The bartenders go around telling everyone to pay their tabs and to tip. It's unfortunate that there is such bad service at closing time makes the whole experience unpleasant. read more

Okay, so this place is HORRIBLE!! Every time my husband and I try to eat here we always leave not only VERY UNHAPPY BUT EXTREMELY MAD!! They have tables outside and no matter at what time you go they say the same thing..." We don't have servers for outside." Then when you ask if there are any tables available inside they tell you yes but the wait time is 45 min or more. When you try to sit at the bar it's over crowded to the point where you can't even just stand there and just ask for a drink. Then today I called to place an order to go and I had to call them three times before anybody answered and put in my order because they kept putting me on hold for over 20 min. Then when I finally put in my order and go pick it up it took an hour and the waitress/bartender had a nasty attitude and when I asked to speak to the manager Julian he as well had a nasty attitude and insulted my husband and I in front of children and everyone around us. We got the Rockin Rib Rolls for free but guess what!? When we got home and went to eat...THEY HAD SPIT ON OUR FOOD!! WTF!!! VERY unprofessional and extremely bad customer service!! I had been to Flannigan's a few times in the past and remember liking the Texas Burger, which I think was the only thing I had ever really tried before. We stopped here for a late lunch with friends the other day and I ordered the Texas Burger again, which did not disappoint but this time my friends also ordered the wings. The wings were amazing. We ordered mild so they weren't spicy how I usually like my wings but they were bursting with flavor and just delicious. I was very happily surprised by the wings. The blue cheese dressing was just the right amount of chunky and had great flavor as well. I have been jonesing another helping of the wings with blue cheese since that day so I will likely be back soon for more. The only thing I didn't like is how crazy crowded it was and we did not even go at what I would expect to be a peak time. From what I can tell, it is almost always packed so expect to wait at least a little bit to be seated. I generally try to avoid having to make even a small wait to eat anywhere but I have to admit that the wings made the 20 minutes we waited for our table totally worthwhile. I don't particularly like chicken but wings are an exception and the Flannigan's wings just took first place in my wing craving book. Looking forward to enjoying them again soon. read more
