We asked them EXACTLY how much it would cost to break our lease and they told us a certain amount that we would have to pay and then proceeded to say that we were getting our security deposit and prorated rent back. I clarified on MULTIPLE occasions so that no random expenses would come up after we had left the apartment that the amount they told us was the ONLY amount we would have to pay. Come to find out one month after we left there was an addendum they forgot to mention. So not only are we NOT getting our prorated rent and security deposit back... but we have to pay an additional $2685 because of the discount we got when we moved in. On top of this, they tried to charge me an extra $200 for extra pool wristbands that we never received, and I tried to inform the property manager, Allison, that I had not received these and instead of checking to see if that was true she passive-aggressively kept telling me she was certain she gave them to us. Got a text from her 2 hours later saying she found them in her drawer. Totally unprofessional and borderline scammers. If you are in the area PLEASE consider living somewhere else. Getting your security deposit back is pretty much like a 1% chance. One of our neighbors got charged for pee stains under the carpets they tore up when they never even had a dog living there.

I see the other reviews from the sad and pathetic ex-neighbors (I hope they are exes) and I'm willing to bet that they expected the new staff to look into a crystal ball from the past to determine their current needs, instead of being responsible adults and reporting them. When I didn't hear from the current property manager after 30 days of moving out, I contacted her via email regarding my security deposit. (Get everything in writing!) She said my letter was returned to her (but this wasn't true because I had a forwarding address). Also, if the management company is to keep any part of your security deposit, Florida law states it must be sent certified mail (which it wasn't as I requested a copy of the envelope she sent and she wouldn't provide it). The property manager then emailed me a "report" which stated the kitchen and bathroom cabinets had been painted. Really?! Why would anyone spend money and time to do this? I certainly did not! What she didn't know was that I had proof (date stamped photos) of the apartment before I moved in showing the cabinets were already painted! I stated this was unacceptable and that I wanted my security deposit back. She wrote it would take time as the check comes from corporate, however, if she hadn't made ALL these mistakes, I would have had my security deposit returned by now. I have requested her corporate contact to no avail. It has been 3 months and counting. I see that others have had issues as well trying to get their security deposit returned to them. I'm wondering if she does this to most tenants? There are other reviews on another site stating others not receiving their security deposit as well. Oh, and perhaps issues don't get taken care of correctly because the property manager also owns a realty company and tries to work both jobs simultaneously. It seems both are lacking somewhat. Perhaps she should focus on one job and do it correctly.

Financial statements were always late, several times the association credit card was not paid, did not follow up on overcharges by the waste company, etc. in addition, several times the posting of notices of upcoming meetings was not done. in the end, the last month they basically didn't care much.

Just moved in a few days ago. Absolutely cannot say enuf about how nice it is…read more Have a spacious 2 bedroom, Quaint kitchen area, so like having a washer n dryer hook up. My apt faces the manicured lawns n ponds, very peaceful n Tranquil. A large area to do my walks, n the plus is all sidewalks that have a lip or crack, has been painted with orange caution marks, that alert me before that step Area is well lighted, places to sit around the area. Pool is so inviting a huge plus for me. Fitness center is a motivation to get these old bones up n moving. Manager on site is a plus. Lots of parking places Computer center, very convenient n I best is the relaxing common area. I am so overjoyed finding my my new home away from home. Oh n shopping for anything is within this area, plus not a long drive to Old city n Beach.
