First, Drew was easy to communicate with (both via phone and email), which was awesome considering that my wife and I were getting married in Ohio and neither of us live in the state. Communicating with vendors from "long distance" can be a pain, but Drew made it painless and simple to get the lighting we wanted and arrange for the set up and tear down. He would always promptly respond (same day, many times within the hour) to any messages (email or phone) that I sent him. Second, Drew was willing to travel a long distance to handle our lighting (he is based in Lima, and our wedding was in Oxford, more than 2 hours away), which really meant a lot to my wife. We didn't look into lighting until about a month before our wedding, and we didn't even realize where Drew was based until near the wedding day. Most vendors won't travel long distance to handle anything, and we were especially impressed since Drew was also DJ'ing a wedding the same weekend he handled our lighting. Next, Drew made setting up the lighting a breeze. The day before our wedding, Drew patiently worked with my wife to pick out the colors she wanted, and more importantly, spent about 35 minutes trying to find the best spot in the room to place the "water effect" lighting. We finally found a great place for it after trying about 10 different spots, and Drew patiently worked with us throughout the entire set up process to come up with an awesome final product. And last but not least, the final product was simply awesome. Drew's lighting that he expertly set up made the room simply stunning, and the manager of the reception venue even asked for our photos with the room fully lit to use in promotional materials. Having worked with about 10 different vendors for our wedding, I can safely say that Drew was one of the best. His flexibility, communication skills, and hard work in getting our reception space set up just the way my wife and I wanted made our wedding day just how we imagined. Don't think twice about booking Drew for lighting - just do it and you won't be disappointed!

From the time our party bus dropped us off at the reception till the time the last beer and wine slushy was gone Kara had our back and set the course. She made everything run seamlessly. DJed her ass off and made things fun. They say a great dj makes the event and there right. We had nothing but complements about how awesome she was. The up lighting was amazing and the lighting on the dance floor was perfect. I didn't want anything to flashy/pulsing for the dance floor lighting and he was able to do exactly what I was looking with that lighting. I also loved the custom monogram that he had reflected on the dance floor. And he was so helpful before the wedding too. He kept the reception flowing very nicely. He never rushed us to do anything but made sure everything got done in a timely manner so guests weren't complaining. He was very flexible when we changed our reception entrance song two days before the wedding. DJ Neeley was great to work with.
