Charged me $225 for a key that didn't work, and would only refund $95 for the programming part of the charge. I paid $135 for a third key which I didn't need as I have two others which open the door manually. Allen advised me to bring them in it takes 5minutes to pull them off and saved me big $ for a service call. Ce out great he did all 3 locks while i waited 15 minutes and new keys. One call is all it took to loose my business before you even got it. The second you answered the phone you seemed rude and after I inquired of your work, you just ran all your words together to the point I LITERALLY had to stop you and say "I didn't hear a single word, sorry I'm trying to understand you, what was that?" And just THEN, in that moment, you lost my money and business before you even got it, by how you talked down to me like I was stupid all because you don't know how to breath when your talking. Not my fault, not my problem, only yours. Thank god I called "VICTOR & SONS" right after, who bless their hearts were so darn sweet, gave me a quote right then and there, showed up in less than 30 minutes, did the job in less than 10, and did it for $80 flat, when YOU had thrown out a random number of $120 just to punk me out of my money!!! I'm giving "VICTOR & SONS" 5...no scratch that... 10 stars for victor & sons, if I could!! But you my friend, need to work on your customer service and English if you expect new business from local large property owners or any new business in general. Freezing morning, warmed up my car, accidentally hit the lock. Called Flag Lock and Key and he was there in like 10 min. and had the car unlocked in another 5. I didn't miss work. I haven't had to call anyone before so I don't know what the rates were, but it seemed fair for not having a spare made when I lost the old one. They were very friendly. read more

The service was excellent! They showed up when they said they would and the cost was reasonable. All locks, with one exception, have worked well. I did have one lock that didn't work so they came out to fix it. It stopped working again, so they came out to fix it again. The third time, it's working great. As I said, the service was great, it just took 3 visits to get one of the locks working right. read more

Well stopped here to get a key made....it was a round cylinder style key...was told 45 dollars...or i could replace all the locks and there would be labor involved...i said couldn't i install them myself...he made it seem like it would be difficult t do it myself...so i went somewhere else got a 4 pack of the locks with 2 keys for 40 dollars and installed them myself in 10 min..so basically i paid less to replace all the locks and Instal them myself for cheaper than having one key made...I would not go back here read more

Live in Phoenix. Lost a car key while on the mountain skiing in Flagstaff on a Saturday no less. Dealership couldn't get or make a key till Tuesday. They referred me to Flagstaff Lock & Key. One call, a few simple questions, they had a key in stock they could program and ran a tech out to the car to finish the job. This person does shoddy work then, once paid will not return to fix the substandard locks he installs. I called and asked for him to return to fix the bad lock. He never responded and never came to fix it. If you need lock service, hire anyone other than him. read more
