This was going through my American home shield warranty. When they submitted the invoice to them, my warranty declined to pay for upgrades. I paid for all additional work that was not under warranty. I will honor that. BUT, needless to say, they added items that were not necessary and I paid for items that were not upgraded or necessary to be upgraded. They LIED about needing a permit to replace the water heater. I had to message them back to get that money back. They LIED about needing to replace Gas piping. They did not replace it. They reused original piping and charged me for it. They charged the insurance company $570 dollars for a water pressure regulator. They LIED, they did not even touch it.
