I am an avid drone enthusiast and also use my drones for work related tasks. I have no connection to FixaCrash and as usual , I received no compensation of any kind for the following review. While repairing my previously modified Mavic Pro controller, I recently made a bad decision and as a result broke a pretty obscure board inside the controller. Additionally, I also ruined the ribbon cable that connects the board to the rest of the controller. I did find the part available on Ebay, but although priced reasonably, would take a couple of weeks to arrive and no option for faster shipping etc. Then I remembered hearing about FixaCrash and thought I would contact them to see if they could help me. I was so pleased when they responded to my website inquiry asking about the part I needed. They had a few in stock, Yeah! Today I visited their location in a residential area of Daly City, CA and met Anita K. She was so helpful, had the replacement board out and ready for me to arrive. It comes with the ribbon cable I needed and the part no more expensive than the Ebay price, she also gave me a couple of jumper wires I needed and did not even charge me. I hope to keep my drone accidents to a rare occurrence, but when I do have a mishap with my Mavic or my P4, you can bet I won't be waiting weeks for DJI to tell me they had received my broken drone and then another couple of weeks before they had evaluated it, etc.... I will simply go to Daly City and have Fixacrash repair it in a couple of days. read more

Anita and her crew were terrific... I I could not find a way to update The firmware on both my Phantom 3 Pro and my controller...DJI indicated I probably needed a new controller. In preparing my drone for shipment to I removed the mounts for my propeller guards and replace the screws that were too long and ruined all 4 of my motors. I thought this would be quite expensive and went on Craigslist to see what it would cost to just replace the drone and found Fixacrash. They were way more helpful on the phone than the 3 DJI technicians that I talked to. Anita had to order the motors that I ruined and even with that had it repaired, updated my firmware and put my drone through a 41 point check up to make sure everything was functioning the way it should. I could tell in moments that these people absolutely enjoy what they're doing and it shows. Customer service was terrific with email updates about the process. Couldn't be happier. Really takes the apprehension out of flying the drone when you know it can be fixed easily and affordably. read more

I had issue with my DJI FPV drone that I purchased through eBay not knowing it was crashed in a lake. It was listed as a drone not powering up. i bid on the item and ended up winning the item not knowing what the issue was? I wanted to return the item but the seller is no longer existed! I look around to see if we have one local that fixes drone here in the Bay Area? but no luck! I went Google search and ended up seeing FixaCrash which is in down southern California. so, I emailed them and I got super fast response from Anita:=) saying they do work on DJI FPV drones. I went ahead and send my drone to them and that is when I found out that the drone is beyond repairable due to too much corrosions in the unit. I was given advice that I am better off buying a new one or use which I took her advice. The experience I had with FixaCrash was outstanding! I am one super happy customer and so glad that I found them and will use them again soon if I ever have any issue with my drones. read more

Five stars isn't enough! This place is a life saver. I own an areal videography company, and I accidentally crashed my drone into a tree :(. I couldn't wait a month or two to send it to DJI. I looked on online for somewhere that could fix it now. I found a place near Reno that said they could fix it, three and a half hour drive later, I dropped it off only to learn that they needed parts. Parts from Fixacrash, so I drove from from Reno to Fixacrash and back. I thought it would be fixed but didn't know for sure because the place I took it didn't have good internet service to set up the drone. Got it home, updated everything, test flight proved that I still had the same problem. Took it back to fixacrash and they fixed it, and test flew it. I was four days into my two week road trip from Florida when I crashed my mavic air in Big Bear near LA. My plan was to find a place in LA to have it fix, but was told that they did not have the parts and the cost would have been $350. After giving up and conceding that I would not be able to fly my drone the rest of the trip, we continued up the coast toward Washington. I tried one last time to get my drone fixed and call FixaCrash. I told her that both front and back arms were broken on one side and that I was on a road trip and would only have a few hours to get it fixed. Without skipping a beat she asked me what color it was and what time I would be arriving. Within an hour and a half of dropping my drone off, it was fixed. I can not say enough good things about the service I received, not to mention they were able to fix it for less then every other place I checked. I use my Mavic 2 Zoom for home inspections. I can't count how many times I have crashed it on site. Arms, motors, gimble...you name it. I have always attempted to repair it on my own. Using "Shoegoo" fiberglass joint tape and whatever I thought would hold it together. However, my last crash was more significant and disconnected my right rear motor from it's connection. After several phone calls and quite a bit of research, I found FixaCrash. Due to my inspections, my greatest concern was getting it back in a timely fashion. To shorten this review up, I will say that FixaCrash is one of the best, customer service businesses that I have ever had the pleasure to know. Anita kept me up to date on all of their findings and repairs. The turn-around time was good considering all the work that needed to be done. When I got the drone back it was like new. I'm not looking forward to having it repaird again...but when I do, it will be FixaCrash. read more

I had crashed my DJi drone went online to find a place that could repair it. The closest one to me was Fix a Crash . I sent them a message through their web site with a description of what happened and the error message. I received a reply explaining the process on how to send them my drone with a estimated cost of repair. I was very impressed with the high level of customer service as I was new a new drone owner and had a lot of questions and Anita answered every one of them in detail. She was extremely patient , knowledgeable, and helpful. What an amazing Drone Repair Service FixaCrash is: I crashed one of my drones for the first time ever a couple of months ago while working in Mexico. Called from there, and Anita was absolutely wonderful. These guys specialize in customer care and lightning fast service at a very, VERY affordable price. The landing skid and gimbal arm on my phantom pro 4 V.2 were a total loss, but FixaCrash received the drone, replaced the parts, tested it to make sure all was well and within 48 hours it was headed back home. I received the drone, it was looking great, cleaner than clean and all damaged parts were replaced, flew it and it was as if nothing had ever happened to it. And the price? Iv been trying to fix my drone for at least two years.First I was told only the company I bought it from was the only place to fix it.Orher places were just too much of a hassle for a scatter brain like me with all kinds of sh_tgoing on.Il was looking for something on the web and came across fix a crash I wanted to see if the advertisement was true a day turn around sounds easy gave it a shot and I took longer mailing it. Problem was they fixed so fast and a great price for a struggling man they waited for me until I got paid no sweating me if I was on time it would of been a total of 4 maybe 5day turn around. I have used Fix-A-Crash several times to repair my Mavic Pro. My drone is very stupid in that it runs into tree branches, windows, etc. (and you better believe it was not me that drone it into those obstacles, twice!!) Anita was quick and the drone was as good as new when I got it back. Reasonable prices as well. She fixed a gimbal problem, I think twice, which means two crashes, and an IMU issue. I don't know how I screwed up the IMU but Anitia fixed it fast. Very little down time. The costs are very reasonable and Anita is nice. Also, the shipping and delivery is prompt and well handled. Anita was very helpful, kept in contact the whole time, and went in detail about the problems my drone was facing. Bought a lemon of a drone for cheap, and it wouldn't connect with the RC and wouldn't stop beeping. She inspected the whole thing and gave a thorough diagnosis before she laid out the options I had; 1: costly repair of ESC board, or 2: buy a used drone from her and exchange my old one in for credit Even before the credit, the used drone price was cheaper than anything I could find online. I took my mavic pro drone out after not flying it for awhile. So I thought I might just do a quick test flight. After getting 3 feet off the ground it took off into my fence and hit the gimble putting a tear in the gimble ribbon! I found FixaCrash online and Anita was able to repair it and update my firmware... all ready to fly again in no time! I took it out this morning and flew for about 1-1/2 hrs flys great again. I bought a busted Mavic Pro platinum on craigslist, hoping it would be at least operational, but it was in horrid condition. Anita did it again... I had some type of malfunction on the Mavic Pro and it slammed to the ground despite me trying to mannualy trying to prevent it. The Mavic suffered damage beyond repair, Anita worked with me on a replacement exchange and sent it back to me within a week. I had two Phantom 3 Standards with connecting and gimbal issues. I was worried that because these are older models, they wouldn't have the parts needed to fix them. But they did! So I did not need to throw these drones away and they are now working great! They were very communicative, easy to talk to about concerns/questions, and the pricing was fair. Found these guys online and contacted them about fixing my drone. I wasn't able to control my camera and I had so many sensors errors and as a result they reprogramed every thing back to normal. I like that fact she explained to me everything before she started the job. This has been working great. All along the way communications with FixaCrash was prompt and professional.
