I got a Mavic Mini last year piggybacked with DJI Care. Unfortunately for me, after the DJI Care expired, I flew my Mini into a tree by mistake. The resulting crash broke the gimbal, arm, and cracked the top shell, and bottom shell. Rather than trying to repair it, Anita suggested I send it in and she could send me a new one for less than half the cost of what I paid for the original one. Looking for drone repair through yelp and only two shops popped up one close to me and fixacrash which is in Daly City.. anyways with my busy schedule I went to the one close to me, left my drone with them for a week and with diagnostics they said I have to replace my whole gimbal assembly for Mavic Pro so I ordered it online and brought the part in then after that,they said I need the gimbal board replace which didn't come in with just the gimbal assembly. Got pissed off since the cost is just adding up, I called Fixacrash, Anita was so accommodating and helpful, she answered all my questions and told me how much it would cost straight up. Really great customer service, extremely knowledgeable!!!! I have been researching a lot trying to decide what type of aerial photography platform I wanted to get. My buddy has a phantom three professional and has only used fix a crash for all of his issues and said their knowledge level, response time and prices were top notch and I should give them a ring. I figured since I wasn't buying anything from them I wasn't going to get much information but their engineer talked on the phone with me for over 20 minutes helping me understand all the benefits and drawbacks to the different platforms I was considering. In this day and age you don't usually see customer service like this for free or people willing to take a long time out of their day to answer all your questions. It was great to find a reputable repair shop within close proximity to my residence. Upon initial contact Anita was professional and pathed the way towards a quick and professional repair. Wow, this was the best customer service ever. Anita did an amazing job fixing my drone. I crashed it into the side of a building and the Mavic Pro gimbal and camera took the brunt of the damage. After thoroughly searching the area for a service center, I came across FixaCrash. I drove my broken drone to Daly City on a Thursday, - and later got confirmation that they picked up my drone from their pick up site. If you need your drone fixed, this is the place to go! I crashed my Mavic Mini into some trees and severed the ribbon wire connecting the gimbal to the drone. When I brought it in to get repaired Anita was extremely knowledgable and helpful in diagnosing the damage. When the damage was worse than I anticipated and the repairs would have cost nearly as much as a new Mavic Mini, I ended up buying a new one from FixaCrash for a fair price. They even sell Mavic Mini batteries for market price, something that has been very difficult to find online due to the shortage of battery supplies. Anita was also helpful in explaining that I could sign up for DJI Care insurance with the new drone, providing peace of mind from any future crashes. I was getting ready to fly one day when i got all sorts of error messages on my DJI. I tried watching multiple youtube videos on how to correct the problem, erased my card, reinstalled software from DJI's website, and tried all sorts of things to get the drone back in the sky. After a minor crash, my Mavic Air's landing gear suffered some damage. It looked to be a minor repair but I didn't want risk further damage, especially with my inexperience. I crashed my drone into a tree. The drone was still able to fly but the recording function on the gimbal worked half the time. It would be a waste of a flight if I thought the drone was recording when it really wasn't. Anyway, I googled drone fixes and came across Fixacrash. My two week old Mavic Pro Platinum hit a tree and fell 40 feet to the ground. I'm pretty mechanical and thought I'd repair it myself. You Tube has videos for everything, right! Saw Anita's very thorough step by step instructions and decided that I may be in over my head. I spoke to Anita and really liked her approach. I'm on the Central Coast so I had to ship my drone to her. The turnaround was really impressive and her packaging for shipping back to me was way better than mine. Just another example of her attention to detail. Her website is great. I could see the status of the whole process. She charged me only $50 in labor to diagnose, replace the camera gimbal, support, ribbon cable, one landing gear, retest the electronics and test fly the drone to confirm the repair.
