I remembered a friend mentioning The Computer Man, based in Essex, who visited your home. I emailed the guy and within 20 minutes received a reply with an offer of visiting in the afternoon. WOW. Then, a phone call later, the engineer rang to say that if it was convenient he could visit within 30 minutes. He arrived dead on time, diagnosed the problem as a faulty hard drive. A replacement was fitted and an upgrade to the RAM. Reinstall of Windows 10 and other drivers. All within an hour. Could you get more satisfaction. A reasonable price with, I noticed on the invoice, a discount on labour charges of 10%, because I am an 'old geezer'. Thanks, Matthew, for a great service. I have been attempting to buy the AstroSlide QWERTY phone for over a year, after the attempts to license a new Blackberry collapsed. Contacts every few months have led to repeated requests to "pre-pay" for a device, with the promise that they would be shipped soon. Every request for an IMEI number (a proof that they have a specific device which could be shipped to me) has led to a run-around. Fortunately I am familiar with the concept of "vapor ware", which sometimes never quite makes it into the realm of reality. I will not send a penny without proof that my payment will cause an immediate shipment of the device being bought. It's really a shame, as the Astro Slide 5G is conceptually the best BlackBerry replacement available. I continue to put off buying another option because each of them is missing some feature on the Astro Slide which I want. Please, prove me wrong! Send me an IMEI number which I can run by my mobile provider, proving that you have an actual device for sale!

Having said its smaller, it still carries a good range of consoles, games and accessories. They offer good deals on new and pre-owned stock. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Its great to have 2 of the same store in town especially as its gets nearer to Christmas with game stores attracting alot of business. Its a shop I have used in the past and will continue using in the future.
