I am on holiday in Nashville and I was so looking forward to a smoothie and toast before my morning hike, however, the juice bar wasn't open! I arrived at 7 am (opening time) and waited in the parking lot for 10 minutes until I decided to leave and go to the nearest Whole Foods. I see that, hours are an issue with other people that have reviewed this restaurant. The juice is delicious, that I cannot deny. I feel torn between giving 3 or 4 stars. However, I do have 3 drawbacks to this little shop that keep me from giving it all 5 stars. 1) price point. This juice is delicious, but $10.92 for a 16oz bottle of juice is just a bit of a reach in my opinion. 2) I wish you could get the juices made to order, rather than already bottled. I'd love for my juice to be made the moment I order it, as most it their juice shops do--especially considering the price point. Though, I guess that's a personal preference I suppose. 3) The staff: they're never particularly warm in my opinion. Not rude by any means, but definitely not the most warm welcoming atmosphere. I always feel like I need to get out of there as soon as possible as it feels cold and not welcoming. All that aside, it is some darn great juice. If you stop in, get the Percy. Note: Order was via postmates. Did not visit in person. This is without a doubt the worst juice bar I've ever tried. The only reason I'm not giving 1 star is because the green drink was drinkable. I ordered via postmates and tried a number of times including their 'famous' date/banana smoothie which was too thick to even drink out of a straw. The biggest disappointment was the activated charcoal drink which was thrown in the trash after spitting out a sip of it. It tasted like someone poured mint oil into the container in addition to an ounce of lavender. I can't wrap my head around how this drink was so poorly made. The cashew milk was passable. Perhaps a 3.5/5 but not something I'd get from Fix Juice again. Was excited to try the spiced orange shot since we are in cold/flu season and had to laugh when I opened the cute bottle only to drink plain water. Yup - someone made a mistake and filled the container with plain water. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for a healthy juice fix. All of the ingredients at Fix Juice Co are organic, all of the time. The organic juices are cold pressed on site while the smoothies and acai bowl are made to order. I chose the #1 smoothie and an Iroquois cold pressed juice. The #1 smoothie was comprised of kale, spinach, mango, banana, lemon, and apple. What a refreshing and creamy smoothie with a well balanced delicious flavor, no wonder it is their best selling smoothie. The Iroquois juice has just 2 ingredients; pink grapefruit and mint. Again, what a great combo of ingredients. The mint seemed to balance out the tartness of the grapefruit making for a surprisingly smooth and yummy juice. Stop by Fix Juice Co and grab some nutrition in a bottle, cup or bowl; you'll wonder why you hadn't done it sooner. Kudos to them for doing things right. read more

Best place to get juice in Nashville. I drive past here everyday and stop in often to grab a juice. The staff is always for attentive and helpful, and they always answer my questions. The price for the juice is a little expensive, but the quality is worth paying for. Also, they have a punch card system... so if you buy ten juices, you get one free. Best juice in Nashville. It's not even close. Reasons (in no particular order): 1. This is a locally owned business. Not a chain or a franchise. It is a true Nashville original and a great addition to our local food scene. 2. They use fresh organic ingredients from local suppliers. You can taste the difference. It's cleaner, and the natural flavors seem to blend better than at other juice places, where they sometimes use bulk and/or frozen produce which gives those juices that watery, dull, and ultimately indistinct flavor. 3. The menu. At first it's a little overwhelming because of the variety. But do as I did and ask for help. They will point you in the right direction. 4. The products! They are remarkable in every category for their creativity, unique use of ingredients, balance, mouthfeel and of course their flavors. (I feel like I'm reviewing wine, here, but it's sort of similar when you think about it.) These are not random juices stirred together. Rather, the blends are made up of specific and complementary flavors in what I assume are proprietary combinations & ratios. There are other flavors included as well, not seen at other juice places. (Cardamom totally works in "the Belle." Try it.) The result is a balanced flavor profile that leaves you asking yourself, "How'd they do that?" The competition is good at their craft. These guys are experts. Artisans, even. 5. They juice, blend, and bottle on premises. (I asked.) Cold pressed, in keeping with the best method for preserving the fresh and nutritional punch these juices deliver. The raw ingredients are delivered to the shop and are pressed same day with the huge silver machine in the front window and then bottled and refrigerated. (Again, I asked.) Seeing that machine there reminds me of one of those salt-water taffy places in Gatlinburg, or that sourdough bread joint in San Francisco. It says: They do it here. All of it. That's important to me. 6. I feel like I have to respond to the other reviews. Not sure if they were made by the competition, but regardless the juices at Fix are prepackaged in the sense that they were bottled before you got there, likely the night before. (You guessed it: I asked.) To me, this is absolutely preferable, because it allows the flavors from the different ingredients to be cooled together, to meld, and to round out. Having tried both juices that are blended and bottled right in front of me as well as those that have had a night to chill together, I vastly prefer the latter. That's what Fix gives you. 7. Finally, do what I did: get a juice from across the street (or your favorite juice place) and then go to Fix and get a similar one. Compare them side-by-side. See which one you like better. My guess is you'll agree with me that Fix is a significant step up. read more

This place is amazing! My kids beg my to take them there for a smoothie everyday! The owner Kara is so loving and personable! The store is always so clean and just simple not overwhelming. I tried other juice bars and the quality is so bad not to mention the joke of an acai "bowl" that comes in a cup! You would be a fool not to try this place! They use organic ingredients and the other juice bars don't... Who wants fresh squeezed chemicals in their healthy juice!!!??? Another amazing thing is they offer 1-3 day juice cleanses. Wouldn't usually try to knock a business down, but want to write this so maybe they can make some adjustments to their staff, service and product. They didn't have any juice, which is annoying in itself that they let customers park and walk all the way into the store to have to be told unapologetically, that they are out of juice. We ordered the açaí bowls which took about 20 minutes to make because the staff were socializing and just seemed distracted by their friends who kept walking in and out of the store. It felt like a Belle Meade social club that also happened to sell some products. The bowls were bland and nothing exceptional, and of course as expected, overpriced. Went home and added more honey, almond butter to make it taste better. Overall left annoyed and wishing we hadn't spent our money there. Sorry to put down a local business, but I felt inclined to share my experience because it feels like they truly don't value the people who walk in and spend money there, only the Belle Meade locals who buy their expensive juice cleanses. read more

Juice is prepackaged and overpriced. Then you are subject to whatever they have left for the day since they won't juice on the premises. The whole concept of fresh juice is that it's fresh. What's the point? And then I'm supposed to be OK paying out the wazoo because it's organic and it's located in Belle Meade? I'm not a rich hausfrau with money to burn after taking my hot yoga class. I've made it a point to visit all of the juice bars here in Nashville to see their similarities and differences. I'm never out in the Belle Meade area but found myself there today for a pilates class and knew I had to stop in after. I love the look of the store and how clean and sleek it is on the inside. Their options are great; enough variety in both smoothies and juices to make anyone happy, not to mention the clever names. I do think it's a bit overpriced for their juices, though. Each bottle could be knocked down a dollar or two. Besides that, I also like the small variety of snacks and how you can see where the juicing happens. Unfortunately, the customer service greatly lacked. No other customers were in the store (understandable, as it was a little after 8 in the morning) yet I was barely greeted as I walked in. While two workers seemed to be focused on a situation with the register or something, I stared at the menu and cooler full of juices for a few minutes without being offered any help or suggestions. I finally decided on a small juice (Percy) and a protein bar and walked over to the register. Again, no 'hello' or 'did you find what you need?' or anything. They actually continued their conversation like I wasn't even there. I gave them a cheery, "hello" (with a mumbled hi from one girl in response) and set my items on the counter. One girl working told me the total, took my money, gave me my change, and that was it. Yet again, she didn't say "thanks for coming in" or even just "have a good day". It was very disappointing because I know what great customer service can do and how important it is for a business, especially a small one. I love this place!! I am completely new to the juicing world and have had an amazing experience here! I did my first juice cleanse and loved it!! The owner, Kara, was so helpful and even hand-wrote out all the juices, ingredients, and order to drink them in! Also, I have a toddler and have a hard time getting him to eat green veggies and he loves all their green juices. I was actually surprised last week when he drank one of their beet juices and loved it also! It's so cool how they have it set up to be able to watch them press in the store. I have tried multiple juices from this place and I haven't found a single one that I did not like. I also like how each juice is unique to something local (i.e. 37205, Radnor, The Broadway, etc). My personal favorite is Radnor (cucumber, kale, celery, spinach and lemon). On top of that, the staff is absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend Fix Juice to anyone. read more
