    The accident happened April 2nd 2017…read more My wife was driving my Toyota corolla (2012). I called my insurance to know what procedures I should take; And to know what garage they recommend. The place the insurance told me about is CARSTAR and the insurance sent all info concerning the accident to CARSTAR, and then I went to CARSTAR and they took the car to fix it. I received the car on April 15, 2017 and it was supposed to be fixed and they inspected thoroughly. I took the car for a test drive; and I found four (4) issues; 1- The hood wasn't aligned properly' it looked offset 2- The dash board was without light' not able to see at night. 3- The accident was on the front left wheel' and after the repairs on the highway, the car steers on its own making the car unsafe for me and my family. 4- The rear lights are also not working. As a result for all of these problems: THE MECHANIC DID NOT DO CAR INSPECTION PROPERLY. I went back to them and told them what was wrong. CARSTAR spoke with my insurance and finally agreed to fix the alignment and the front dash and the back light and the hood. I received the car the second time from CARSTAR; and did another test drive, when I tried to start the vehicle, the radiator fan was on all the time when you turn the Key half way to accessory mode. I went back to CARSTAR again' and they told me to go to my mechanic, this problem wasn't there before the accident. So CARSTAR told me that they would get an inspector to check the vehicle thoroughly to find out everything that was wrong with it from the accident. When I came back home' I called my insurance again' and they told me to go to another place; a certified garage, and they said whatever is part of the accident, they will fix, if not it would be up to me to fix and I pay for it. So when my insurance wanted me to go to another garage; they didn't know the whole history of the accident; so I decided to go to the head (Franchise) of CARSTAR; to get to the bottom of this situation. This was on April 22, 2017 they asked me for all the paper work from CARSTAR and I sent it on April 23, 2017 the next day to their head office. I received an email saying that someone will responded to me in two (2) business days, no one called me until May 3rd, 2017 . On May 3rd I decided to send the head office of CARSTAR an email concerning their lack of response. The someday I received a call from a CARSTAR agent in Montreal saying that he would do a thorough diagnostic exam free of charge. When he finally did the inspection; he found two (2) problems: 1- The fan problem that wasn't turning off when I had the car on accessory mode. 2- A code (P1605) which can be a cause of many other problems from the accident. This was on May 5, 2017. The CARSTAR agent who did the free inspection told me that he will respond to me by Monday 8 of May. But he did not respond again. I gave him a few days to see if he would respond; then I decided to call him again on Friday May 12. I spoke to him and he could not find out the exact problem from (P1605). I called CARSTR to change the agent on May 12, 2017 and they told me someone else (a New agent) will call me by maximum May 16, 2017 I did not receive any answer so far to today's date which is June 26st 2017.
