I went there 2 months ago, the office has a horrible odor. The doctor and his staff are far from professional. The place is a bad joke.

PLEASE EXCUSE ANY DELAYS. We will give you the same careful attention as soon as possible." They clearly care more about money and maxing out appointments because they'd rather their patients wait OVER an hour in the waiting room passed their appointment time. They are aware of this issue and instead of finding a solution to remedy it, they posted this sign to warn patients that they will most likely have to wait way behind their appointment time to be seen as if their time means nothing. I will be going to a new Doctors office that actually cares about their patients time and not maximizing copays and schedules at the expense of their patients. There have been no consequences or side effects. She is personable and delightful as well. Actually I showed her another issue I was having which she diagnosed immediately and I was able to get care the same day with a professional that treats the issue I was experiencing. On another matter: Her office staff called me twice to make sure I received the result of an mri I had. Dr. Iones followed up to make sure that I was seeing a doctor for an issue that appeared on the mri. I highly recommend Dr. Iones if you need a neurologist as I have been to three others over the years and none compare on any level.

On June 9 2023 I'm back at the office after my cerebral angiogram procedure/surgery done 2 weeks ago at North Shore Hospital, NY by Dr. Thomas Link, MD, MS - Neurosurgery I walk in to the office and welcomed with smiles from Maharanie Manmohan (Front Desk) Margo McKenzie (Front Desk) & Rebecca Kingston (Front Desk). While checking me in we had a blast chatting. They loved my outfit that was custom made by a tailor in Nigeria. One of the 8 outfits my mommy sent to me. Also everyone looked amazing. What lovely ladies. Very professional, kind, warm and caring. The wait was not long at all. Keisha (Medical Assistant) came to get me. Very professional, polite and kind. She went through the entire process with me. Nice sense of humor which made me feel at ease for I was there for a brain issue. Later came Dr. Thomas Link, MD, MS - Neurosurgery and Cindy Queliza - Nurse Practitioner. What a gorgeous lady. Dr. Thomas Link is hot as well. Cindy Queliza and I have spoken on the phone numerous times. First time we met in person. Well so since my aneurysm Feb 2008 at Bellevue Hospital. We all tried to get my records but unfortunately Bellevue records warehouse had burnt down years ago. Dr. Thomas Link, MD, MS - Neurosurgery showed me the photos from the cerebral angiogram 2 weeks ago. I had another aneurysm below the one I had in 2008. The clip that was put on my 4th nerve where the 1st aneurysm which made me permanently blind is now corroding. Dr. Thomas Link, MD, MS - Neurosurgery explained all my options in great detail so for my peace of mind I will have the cerebral angiogram again the coil embolization. This will prevent the aneurysm from rapturing. With this procedure there's a 5-9% chance of death or stroke. But I would rather have this done than have the aneurysm rapture at any time. Both Dr. Thomas Link, MD, MS - Neurosurgery and Cindy Queliza - Nurse Practitioner where very compassionate, caring and patient in explaining everything in great detail. I felt I'm in great hands. So now I have a OGBYN surgery on July 18 2023. Neck surgery in August 2023. Will have the brain surgery cerebral angiogram again the coil embolization Jan/Feb 2024. This way to give my body enough time to heal. I want to thank everyone for making my experience not stressful, very professional, bringing smiles and laughs to me. Very much appreciated for it is a very traumatic time and thing to deal with. ALL LOVES HERES.

I can not begin to tell you how grateful I am for Dr. Scopelliti and his fabulous team manager…read moreDebbie. My father was recommended by his primary physician to see a neurologist due to the unusual appearance of his hand. I happened to be visiting for the week, and it was very frustrating for me that every office he was referred to did not have any appointments for two months. I spoke to his chiropractor, who is a family friend, and he stressed the fact that waiting two months was not acceptable. My father is hard of hearing, and not really savvy on social media. Since YELP is my go to for everything, I decided to research other offices and see if I could find him an appointment much sooner. Being in the dental industry, it is very important for me to read credentials and reviews from patients. I was very impressed with Dr. Scopelliti's back ground, so with fingers crossed, I made the call. Ladies and gentlemen, I felt like I was reaching out to an old friend. Debbie was so kind and understanding! Having an aging parent can be very challenging, but she was very patient as my dad chimed in his two cents from the background. She was able to get my father an appointment in four days. We chatted for a bit about what it is like to be a patient provider. She told me about the doctor, and the one on one experience he provides. I sent her dad's insurance information, and she was kind enough to reach out within the hour to explain about his patient portion. I was really looking forward to meeting the team, but circumstances came up and I sent my mom. I wanted her to be able to understand what the Dr. was diagnosing, and due to HIPPA regulations, I wanted her to be able to have future discussions if need be. When they came home, Dad gave rave reviews about Dr. S. He treated him for a full hour, had strict Covid guidelines, and dad had a better understanding about what was happening to his body. I am so very thankful for these people. In this time of uncertainty, you think the worst outcome possible. Dad was convinced he had one foot in the grave, and was discussing his burial wishes. I told him only the good die young, and he has plenty of years left! We have a little work to do to get him on the mend, but thanks to Dr. S and his extremely thorough exam....there will be many more visits with my family. If you are looking for a knowledge neurologist, look no further. This practice went above and beyond! Heartfelt thanks to both Debbie and Dr. Scopelliti! Beth Soncrant

I had MRI's, nerve and muscle conduction tests and a myelogram (painful and risky). He promised to be at the hospital every day to follow up. He left for Paris and left me, afraid and in agony. A NURSE ASKED ME HOW I WAS! When I told her I was in terrible pain, she asked me WHAT I WANTED! I was freaking out that I was being made responsible for my pain relief. I didn't know what to do. I just knew dilaudid was used and was so stressed that I didn't know what was the best solution. I guess I should have said a morphine drip. I had to suffer unimaginable pain with only 12 hour INJECTIONS of dilaudid. 3 months later, I was still in agony and had sciatica. Another MRI showed the compressed nerve had gotten worse. He said he " NEVER SAW IT". No one acknowledged the mistake.(lawsuit paranoia).I couldn't function. YEARS have passed, epidurals don't work and OPIOIDS are not to be had. Medical marijuana in NY is limited and more expensive than most other states. It seemsdoctors here seem to be limited in time, compassion, integrity, and effective solutions. Interestingly, doctors have told me how cervical fusion would fix my totally messed up neck (which I know all too well) but after my failed surgery I'm terrified. Not being famous or wealthy effects your treatment and outcome, as does your insurance. It's getting worse, as are my neurological related issues. I understand the anxiety, depression, and desperation of pain and inability to function and live life.
