They then pocket the money and never show up for the job. They seem very nice and sincere when you call or visit them but the job never gets scheduled. And forget about getting your deposit back. There is always a reason why they don't have the cash. These guys are fraudsters and you will lose your deposit money. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I lost my deposit but it wasn't a great deal of money. My goal here is to post valid but terrible reviews about Boba's wherever I can so that they end up losing thousands of dollars of lost business and save the good people of El Paso the pain of dealing with such unprofessional con men.

I would like to start by saying there is no option for zero stars. Had I read another users review…read moreprior then I would have stayed clear of this welding business. I had a custom rack made for .my truck and tool box that Michael Bobadilla was more than happy to take. We came up with a design agreed on a price. He asked me for a deposit, I'm assuming for the materials, in which I paid in full. I'm not sure if that's where I went wrong but it took them 3 weeks to finish a job that should have taken 3 days. He stated that there were other jobs ahead of me and I acknowledged this. However I feel as if I was put on the back burner because they were already paid and I said I had another vehicle. Communication was very poor and I was told for over a week and a half that it would be ready the next day and it kept dragging on and turning into the next day. I went as far as to bring a case a beer by to try to help the job along. Here is the issue, I went by once and found the doors unlocked and keys in the ignition, no harm I removed keys and told Michael. It was after I picked up my truck that I noticed gouges in the paint on top of the roof and around the bed. And a large amount of slag ( molten steel from the welding process) all over the roof, quarter panel windows and rear window. I told Michael the same day I picked it up, and he said he would resolve it. When I brought the truck to him he tried claiming the paint damage on the bed was either prior damage or vandalism, "he couldn't confirm that it was his employees" the window and roof is undeniable and he admitted that it was his fault. He said he would get back to me in a few days with solutions but I have since stopped recieving responses from him. Damages are in excess of $2700, back window alone was $500. I do not expect to hear back from him. I have never experienced such worthless customer service. IF YOU ARE READING THIS REVIEW I HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING ANOTHER SERVICE AROUND EL PASO AS YOU WILL BE EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED WITH THE RESULTS AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Some of the welds look like they were done by high school students attempting it for the first time in shop class. IN FACT, SAVE YOUR MONEY, BUY A WELDER AND DO IT YOURSELF. You'll have less heart ache than dealing with Bobas welding. I pride myself on being a stand up citizen and all around decent person. Weathered steel is manufactured in most common forms: sheet, bar, square and round tubing, etc. whether El Paso Metals and Steel has it or not. The El Paso Metals and Steel sales rep. had ZERO interest in finding out if they could obtain any other forms and was annoyed I made an inquiry about something they had not sold previously. This is ironic since their website says: "Get the right materials for your business or project, whether you're need standard supplies and parts or a custom made piece." "Contact us today for information regarding metal, custom castings and products, or cleaning services. We'll get you what you need." It does not bother me they were not able to supply the materials I was seeking - that can happen. I was a potential new customer for them, but because of their poor customer service on a simple, initial inquiry, I will not be doing any business with El Paso Metals and Supply.

He did a site visit shortly after I called and showed me many pictures of fencing and gate options until we found the perfect one. Other builders quoted 2-3 months to get in a queue for fabrication, and even charged extra to be pushed ahead in the queue). Javier was able to have the fence oxidized (rusted look) and installed in just a couple weeks. His rates were also very good in comparison to the other contractors. On top of that, he was a pleasure to work with - courteous, communicative and professional.
