One to San Francisco and one to Europe. I waited til right before close the second day and got an email with pricing for only airfare and hotel. I then asked for a better hotel (bc the first was like a Hampton inn or some crap). There were no details about seats on the plane (types/together/amenities) or about the distance to the hotel or how to get from the airport to the hotel (I told her not a rental car so am I just supposed to call an Uber?- the hotel is over 30miles away?) I received another email with a better hotel and then nothing. Never any info on Europe. I will have children in tow- I thought using a travel agent would give me a step by step trip with peace of mind. Instead it looks like I'm not going to San Fran bc now it's only 5weeks out and although Europe is next year, nobody has contacted me at all. I don't want to get there and have nothing to do and no way to get around except for a cab. She never asked what I wanted to do/see/experience in Cali, nor did she give any ideas/brochures/options and never asked how much I wanted to spend. I remember going with a friend to an agent who pulled out all these booklets and pictures and she booked a trip to Florida that same day. They sat right there and pulled pricing, activities, food and airport shuttles-everything. Not emails back and forth two days later and then "I leave at 4 and we are closed on weekends".

They brought the car to Bob's Advanced in 15 minutes and took car of my two daughters and I on one of the hotter days of the summer when our own car overheated. Our car repairs took a couple of days, so when we went back to our home in Chicago, Blue Oval was in regular contact with Bob's Advanced and had an update on our car as we were trying to plan for how long we needed the rental. When we were coming back from Chicago, there was a slight delay in our car repairs, and we needed to switch out rental vehicles for one more day (because our original vehicle was already reserved for another party), so Blue Oval seamlessly got us into another vehicle for the last day. Their level of customer service was top notch, and I wouldn't hesitate to rent from them again. They are the epitome of small town customer service and a great business with a variety of rental vehicles.

After canceling one trip due to the loss of our dog, we received a refund through our travel insurance. However, when a family cancer situation and later a travel advisory forced us to reschedule our second trip, everything fell apart. Our agent Kayla delayed responses, missed our preferred booking, and ultimately canceled our trip without consent. When I asked for a refund and to speak with the owner Jamie, I was denied both. The owner refused a phone call, insisted on email-only communication, and their explanation of the travel insurance completely contradicted what we were told before. Unprofessional, inconsistent, and untrustworthy. I strongly advise others to avoid this company
