Highly don't recommend. While the staff is friendly and the place is clean, this is not where you want to buy anything. Our limo driver pushed for us to go to the store so we said why not out of convenience. $150 later with only a case of beer and a handle of liquor that can be bought for $50 total elsewhere is unfortunate. I did some research online and found multiple sources pointing how this specific store gives "kickbacks" to the drivers for referring them there. That my friend is not cool. I'm pretty sure they are running a scam with rides share companies. Our Lyft driver bought us here. Liquor prices are pretty low in NV, and aren't that bad off strip, even if they are close to it. My boyfriend paid $45 for a bottle of Buffalo Trace. He realized that the driver came in with him to text someone what he bought. Everyone has to make a buck in Vegas, I guess! read more

All of the 1-star reviews you read here are true. This liquor store is a HUSTLE JOB between the ride share drivers and the store. My very friendly Uber driver suggested we stop at Five Star on the way to the hotel to purchase less expensive bottled water and beer than they sell on the strip. Felt genuine and thoughtful at the time! When we pulled into the parking lot it was full of Ubers, Lyfts and taxis. My driver then said he'd come inside with me to help me carry the case of water, but really because he needed the cashier, who he knew by name, to make sure he got credit for my ridiculous purchase. $35 for a case of water and 12 Mich Ultras ‍ Lesson learned...please learn from mine! Stay Away! Tourist trap! This place has several cameras pointing directly to the parking area where they capture license plates for the various Uber/Lyft/Taxi drivers who bring customers there. The owner most likely gives a kick-back to the drivers who bring innocent and naive customers to this place. Prices are easily 50-75% more than other liquor stores in the area. Went into Five Star Liquor and got zero star service. I brought my merchandise to the register and the guy rang me up. Overpriced, but convenient. PROBLEM was he said my debit card didn't go through. He didn't say it was declined, but it just didn't run it. Asked if I had another card to try. Ran my credit card and he said the same thing. I knew he was wrong, so I pulled up my online and there was the charge for $61.95. He tells me it didn't go through his system. I went back the following day and they said they wouldn't refund me. So now 8 days later it never dropped off and I have to dispute it with my bank. I would give them zero stars if possible. read more

Its super clean and well stocked, lots of wines that are hard to find in other stores. Customer service was excellent. This is a small, overpriced liquor store with convenient hours. Given that it's not on the Strip, they charge maybe 50% more than you'd expect. Even lots of stores on the Strip are cheaper.
