We were casually strolling through the Venetian Grand Canal Shoppes when my wife pulls me into this spirits-spices-vinegars-oil-wine boutique gift shop. The sales persons were kind, helpful, and a joy to converse with. They explained that whatever you love (see above listed examples), they have something which may very well be your jam. We looked around and stumbled onto this Peanut Butter Whisky bottle and inquired further. Brian told us it wasn't as sweet as others you may have tried (i.e. Skrewball) as it's small batch created, has real peanuts, and is sweetened with real sugar cane (not high fructose corn syrup). Brian gave us a sample and we were SOLD! Bought their biggest bottle 750ml! Shared it with close friends and that bottle was the hit of the night! We'll be sipping on the remains back in San Diego during special occasions. If you like peanut butter, this makes for a great shot drink or a sipping whiskey. The Vegas store is well stocked, tidy, stress-free, and the staff is wonderful (especially Brian who helped us). He personalized the bottle for us and put a cute bow on it and wrapped it carefully so as to protect it during transit. One of the few places we always stop at during a trip to Las Vegas. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They seem to really love their jobs. The selection of small batch liquor is amazing. I love this little shop! What a fun find! You walk in to their outstanding collection of small batch spirits from all over the world. They offer samples of everything's they offer. The gentleman who was helping me was really nice and knowledgeable, every recommendation he had for me was spot on. They have exotic liquors and a great variety of whiskeys. My husband and I came here with my sister-in-law and cousin, to check out their selection. It's well lit, clean and definitely catches your eye from the outside looking in because of all the bottles that you can choose from. Upon walking in, we were greeted by Nick and he checked our IDs to make sure we were 21 and over. From there we just started asking him questions about the different alcohols that they had, we were looking for something for my father-in-law for Christmas, and I believe he prefers bourbon so we had asked Nick about the different Bourbons that they carried. He explained the differences between them, the different notes and even gave us samples of a few that we were interested in. He went on to explain a few different bourbons to the rest of our party but the other half of the store really caught my eye so I wandered off. They have a great selection on the left side of the store of Vinegars and Oils which surprised me, because I thought they only sold alcohol here. I started perusing through the oils, and I found a few that caught my attention that I wanted to look a little further into. There was one specifically that was a garlic and cilantro infused oil, and when I asked Nick about it, he said that although you could taste a bit of the garlic, the cilantro was the stronger scent and flavor in it. He gave me a little sample to taste which I really appreciated and honestly that's probably what sold me on buying a bottle to take back home with me. It's absolutely delicious, I personally love cilantro and garlic, so this oil was meant for me! Then Nick asked if I wanted to taste his favorite oil, and I said yes, so he pointed me to the black truffle garlic butter oil... When I tell you, I was absolutely blown away by the flavor, I am not exaggerating! I have never in my life tried anything with black truffle in it so, of course, I have nothing to compare it to you, but this was absolutely delicious. In the end, we did not end up buying any alcohol, but I did buy a bottle of the cilantro and garlic oil. They have three different sized bottles that you can fill with the oils or vinegar's, and that determines the price, they also have different bottle designs that you can choose from at the very bottom of all the oils which I thought were very adorable because they had a gingerbread man one! Overall, our experience from start to finish was very pleasant here, we didn't feel rushed or looked down on for our many questions in the different selections that they had here. I really enjoyed the selection of olive oil's that they had as well. I found out you can actually order online! And you can have it shipped to you, and that's the olive oil's, vinegars and alcohols as well. I really like that because I did not end up buying the black truffle oil but I really want a bottle, so I think I will end up ordering some. I do have to make a special shout out to Nick! Upon entering, he just made us feel very comfortable, answered all of our questions to our satisfaction, and even went above and beyond providing samples and asking if we wanted to try new things without being pushy. DO NOT listen to the sales pitch about their bourbon. No matter what they say it's a private label bottled in Wisconsin and 5 years old at best. They are charging 3x retail and will outright lie about its origin and quality. Regrettably my wife bought me a gift bottle and once I saw the label I realized she had been swindled. She was "helped" in the store and steered towards a particular version that was "as good as Pappy." Well there is no 5 year bourbon on earth that is worth $169 for a 350ml. A 750ml of this same product is $92 online and probably not even worth that. This place is no different than the skin cream and lotion hawkers in the hallways. Shameless hucksters. read more

There are many different types of Balsamic vinegar and olive oil. They also have many unique types of spirits that you can sample. You can purchase the items in a variety of sizes, and they will seal the bottles for you. This is the location to come to when visiting Las Vegas Strip! Spirits and Spice have multiple locations in the US, but this one is my absolute favorite. For one, the customer service is out of this world AMAZING! The staff was phenomenal! They were knowledgeable, friendly, and wonderfully pleasant to speak with. Once you come in, you are greeted by either Bear or Jeff. Wonderful young men that find passion in this work and know good alcohol (wink wink). I also come in to test try the new flavors, and I LOVE coming during the holiday time as they have tons of sales to offer. Now, I come from Cali and never feel like taking any of the bottles on the airplane with me. Do they ship? Yes, and it is super easy! Bear always makes sure that I am taken care of with shipping my items. I remember there was a situation years ago when packages were delayed. My grandma (yes I said Grandma) discovered this place almost 10 years ago! The first time we discovered it we were hooked. It was definitely all the pretty bottles and colors that caught our eye. Once we were inside, we were overwhelmed by all the amazing alcohol! They specialize in flavored liquors which was something my grandma and I love. We tasted a few and ended up taking a bottle of their rose flavor home. Now every time we go to Las Vegas it is a tradition to stop by. I recently stopped by this past December and had just as much fun as the first time I went. Well hello delicious alcohol store! I was pleasantly surprised to find this location while exploring the area and felt compelled to enter when I saw a Banana's Foster liqueur. I have never seen anything quite like that before so off we went! It is a cute, bright store with plenty of activity. The store is very well organized with each section clearly marked and labeled. The best part is that you can try anything in the store with no risk or obligation to buy. They do require a tasting fee for some of their top shelf liquors as they do offer a variety of whiskies, vodkas, and other harder alcohols. They also offer a variety of sizes for very tiny sampling sizes to good size bottles. I was incredibly impressed with the selection in this store. I was also very impressed with the individual who was able to help us out. He happily took us from station to station making recommendations of product and offering samples. Everything was very good! It was such a wonderful, bright atmosphere. They do offer shipping provided that you live in a state that permits shipping. If you live in a state that doesn't - which there are quite a few that doesn't - you will have to figure out another way of getting it home. The prices are moderate to steep depending on what you wish to purchase. The hard alcohol was the highest price point and one that I couldn't quite bring myself to buy. Sure, the tasting was great but I felt uneasy about putting that much down on a bottle fraction of the size as a typical 750 ml bottle for the same price. I ended up buying a couple different liqueurs and immediately miss the place now that I am no where close to it. read more

We come here every time we come to Vegas and it's such a treat to pick out flavorful spirits, olive oils, and balsamic vinegars. Favorite tip: You can taste anything before buying so it's no risk, and you can have your purchases shipped. Our shipping was free after a certain dollar amount was passed. I usually don't like liquor, but the woman helping my dad and husband pick out Rye convinced me to try a flavored liquor. I was convinced I wouldn't like it. I now have the Apricot liqueur in my cabinet at home as it was everything she said it was and I loved it. I also picked out the carmelized onion balsamic that was divine over the avocado, olive oil (also picked out that day), and local sea salt crystals I had for lunch the other day. I came across this great store during my stay at the Venetian resort in Las Vegas. This is a must stop! I was getting so frustrated, trying to find a unique gift for my adult children when I found this Gem of a place. River was so nice and helpful! I am not very knowlegable when it comes to alcohol and liquors, but River sure is!. He gave great suggestions of things to try based on what little information I gave him about the things we like. She then whisked us away on a magical tasting journey of vodkas, liquors and every delicious adult drink inside the store.
