It's been 2 weeks since the purchase and we just picked it up. Chris came out and went over the features with us. So helpful! Thank you for installing the LED glow lights under the cart! Can't wait to see them at night. You guys were great to work with and gave us a great cash price! Thank you so much!! We love our new toy!

We shipped that cart to Florida. Today, we decided to perhaps buy another cart for our camp in NH. The experience couldn't have been more opposite in a very negative way. We pulled into the parking lot and we walked around looking at the inventory. Noone was outside to help. Walked into the office and Tim was at his desk doing paperwork. Asked fewM850i questions and he indifferently answered our questions. We looked at a used Clubcar cart that Tim gave us a price of $5999.. yet their website advertised it for $4999. We actually decided to buy a new Evolution cart in the showroom.. for cash.. provided we could pick it up the next day (I'm having shoulder surgery next week and I won't be able pick it up for many weeks). Tim didn't blink an eye and said sorry, not possible. So we walked out with our $8000 check. Business must be pretty good... and if you go... forget about the 24 hour delivery they advertise on their website... not going to happen. Good luck! Walter

The owner showed up with the car at 8:55 as well. We went into the shop as soon as they let us to start filling out the paperwork. The owner proceeded to raise his voice that the two other people in our group needed to do the paperwork but we were already half way done. There is four of us in our group so it took some time for us. The owner then got pissed off and said in a rude manor that we needed to be back on time since other people were renting the car. How rude of the owner while all his workers were so kind to us. Especially on the 4th of July. We were back on time but shame on the owner for having a disgusting disrespectful attitude like that. WE WERE ON TIME NOT HIM. we enjoyed our ride.

But only complaint or should I say concern is I'm not sure how well maintained the Slingshot rentals are. I've never driven one before, so it's very possible that what I experienced driving is just how they drive, but to me a few things stood out. - slow acceleration; needed to really push the pedal to accelerate past 25/30 MPH. Luckily most of Newport is 25 MPH speed limit, so it's not like there is much of a need to go fast anyway - BRAKES; again this I think is more just a slingshot thing...might have nothing to do with maintenance. But as someone who never drove one before, I was very surprised at how bad the brakes were. The vehicle decelerates pretty rapidly when you let of the gas, BUT you also have to anticipate and ensure you have enough distance to brake and safely come to a stop. I still had a ton of fun and amazing time cruising around the city and taking in the sites. It was very fun to drive down toward the Cliff Walks.
