After we ripped up the entire carpeted space and treated it--I wanted info from a professional to see if there was anything else that we needed to do before getting the affected slab ground down and polished. I spoke with several companies who were unhelpful over the phone or charging ridiculous fees just to come out and provide an estimate. Mathew, the owner of Puget Sound Water Rescue was timely in his responsiveness over the Yelp App (on a Sunday afternoon) and ultimately provided us the perspective and information that we needed to determine whether or not professional remediation services were warranted at this point. Ultimately we determined with his help that they were not. Despite the fact that we did not end up hiring (anyone), his knowledge, honesty, and helpfulness were 5 stars worthy. Highly recommend talking to and/or Mathew for your remediation needs!

He did not try to upsell and seemed very transparent in his assessment. A few other water companies had pressured us to start an insurance claim there and then, saying the work would be more than our $5k deductible. Matthew told us that the water was very small and could be dried out with some DIY strategies. He then also looked at another issue we had and provided honest unbiased information about plumbers and contractors. He also provided a lot of small tips to prevent moisture and leaks in the future. I recommend Matthew as your first call and will definitely seek him out for future water damage needs.

We live in Everett, here in Snohomish County. I called Signature Restoration in a panic, and their 24/7 emergency service was immediate and professional. Andrew arrived quickly and took charge of the crisis. He walked us through the entire process, starting with the necessary mitigation (all the water extraction and technical structural drying). What truly sets this company apart is that Andrew and the team didn't just dry it out and leave; they handled the entire job! They performed the complete repair and restoration of the damaged areas, leaving the space looking immaculate--honestly, better than it looked before the flood. If you are in the King County or Snohomish area and need a company you can trust for prompt, full-service Water Damage Restoration, look no further. Highly, highly recommend Andrew and the experts at Signature Restoration LLC.

Amazing! I have never given a review this positive before…read more We had a small flood in our kitchen- dishwasher leaked. We had old laminate that buckled with leakage downstairs. On advice we contacted Rebound and the owner Rob and his crew came and started the drying process right away. From then on the whole experience, which could have been an ordeal, was smooth as silk. They came when they said they would, yes, every member of the company. They didn't delay our job for larger ones, it moved right along. Cleaned up after every part of the repair. Excellent communication, everything made clear. Reasonable estimate and much experience working with insurance companies. They really did take care of everything and it was a pleasure to work with them to the very end. If you are freaking out right now about damage in your home call them, call them NOW!

If we could give Rebound Restoration 10 stars, we would!…read more We had water faucet leak in our Kitchen that flooded our cabinets, leaked through the floor and into the downstairs finished basement. It soaked the ceiling support beam and post. It also soaked our downstairs carpet and pad. We called our Insurance agent of many years who referred it to their Claims Department, but he was of no help afterward. The first Claims Adjustor was difficult and adversarial. He ordered a national "Cleaning and Restoration" company to come to our place and put in heaters / blowers for days in order to dry out our kitchen and downstairs. Their crews ripped out the drywall in the ceiling and beams downstairs, They ripped out our kitchen cabinets and propped up the granite counter tops with 2x4s and then left! The cabinets were not supported properly and started to sag. At this point, the national company quit and left!!! It is important to note that the insurance company adjuster ordered this work and paid the co. directly for this work. But, then they told us that the rest was our responsibility! We were supposed to go find a contractor that would repair what they left. We were expected to go find estimates and then negotiate with the insurance claims department for reimbursement. I called a total of 21 contractors over the next few months! Five never showed up. Four recommended that they just tear out the kitchen and start over, which the Ins. Co. would not approve. Six companies were honest enough to tell me that they could not do the entire job, but referred me to other contractors. Some were handymen that just weren't capable. One owner was a fast talking con artist, who wanted us to give him $2,500 down and then sign a contract before he would even give an estimate. It was obvious that he wanted to bilk the insurance co.(and me) for all of the money that he could get. One wanted us to pay $250 for his time to provide us with an estimate if we did NOT give him the business. Another contractor said that he could do the work, but it took 2 weeks of begging to get the estimate. We discovered that about 1/3 of the items that he'd discussed were not on the estimate. Frankly, I didn't trust having most of these people in my house! When I asked several if they were licensed, bonded and insured, they disappeared ! Meanwhile, our Kitchen Stuff was piled throughout our living room and dining room. Downstairs furniture and items were still stacked in piles. Finally, after a couple of months, we contacted Rebound Restoration! John Marsh, their estimator, came out to give us an estimate. He was professional and patient with our questions and he provides us with a thorough and complete estimate of all of the work. He was a standout from everyone else who came to our home. He assured us that Rebound could rebuild the "boxes" under the countertops, save our counters and reinstall the cabinet faces. He was patient and educated us. He was accessible when we called for clarification or we needed information. About that time, our insurance company changed adjusters. The new adjuster was impressed with the Rebound Estimate. It helped that Rebound Restoration and our insurance company use the same software program. Approval was a quick process after that. Rebound is excellent at mitigation. They worked hard to communicate with our insurance company and justify the necessary work and expenses. I made sure that each stage of the job was approved by the insurance co. for reimbursement. This is important, as the insurance company does not pay the contractor directly. We cannot speak highly enough of the quality of people that work for Rebound: Rob, the owner; John, the estimator; Rene, the Painter; Jeff, the cabinet maker; Nicole, the scheduler; Jaron the project manager, and Theron, all round handy guy and carpenter asst to Jeff. Their work was superb. After months, our house is now being put back together. Everyone of them is professional, hardworking, caring, and easy to do business with!!!! My only complaint? I wish that I had called Restoration Reconstruction first. I told the insurance company that while it is sad that I had to learn the construction business and spend countless hours and months researching this, it was worth it as finally we found the right guys. Rebound could have done the entire job. Had we known what we know now, we would not have let the original adjuster call in his national company and then just leave us in the lurch. Sorry for the length of this review, but I hope our story helps others. If you are patient, polite, and persistent enough you will finally get through the experience and keep your sanity. It sure helps, though, when you have someone like these guys to help get you through it.

I called Green Planet from seeing their excellent review history and local family ownership, and they aligned their inspection to suit my availability the next day, and the owner David sent their very capable and friendly project manager JJ. He surveyed the areas and two things became clear: he knows his craft and summarizes his findings very well, and he came to our home prepared for any eventuality with his drywall and remediation team resources to inspect as well as perform the work if we chose to (which we did). After pulling the baseboards and carpet lips back, analyzing water/humidity levels within the walls and materials and checking the inner wall beams and studs, he determined it was not black mold and could be normally cleaned as some form of soot/dirt accumulation. This put us at ease for that part. Then on to the shower area, where he not only examined the MDF baseboard area but also checked telltale signs above on the upper wall sand ceiling inside the shower and even in the towel closet. He correctly removed the shower ceiling itself and a few inches of the upper walls, ad well as some of the lower wall adjacent to the baseboard damage to get the complete picture of where mold had been hiding. His team remediated the shower itself along with the attic roof plywood sheeting and trusses which also had some mold growth. And THEN he even realized the mold went a little further beyond so they also removed a small area in the adjacent second bedroom and uncovered the other portion of that same mold stretch on the attic sheets and trusses of our roofing underside. After finding and treating it all, the verdict was that the outer roof (replaced new 5 years prior) was a likely source at one time of a leak, in addition to the contributions made by the shower area and steam buildup due to a 18-inch soffit dropdown lip from the ceiling forming a typical "shower cup" that traps steam and does not vent it properly. JJ also suggested (which we are now doing) to remove the soffit entirely and make it a smooth ceiling since we have a contractor already there and it is not load bearing, and to add a newer fan with humidity sensing if possible, to prevent a repeat of this happening. So they recommended smart things to do beyond just remediation and restoration. All of this operation was done under strict quarantine of the areas affected, sealing off the work areas with tape-sealed zippered access liner walls and appropriate ventilation and drying units, since you do not want anything to spread of be inhaled just in case. JJ was clear about the first estimate and then the second estimate in the adjacent bedroom once they realized they had to extend it. So pricing was both reasonable and accurately estimated. I was present for various stages seeing the progress and getting an explanation for anything I was curious about. Again, I would heartily recommend Green Planet for any services they offer, if this job is an indication of the quality and care they put into doing their work.

Jesus and Brandon were respectful of the space -- for example, when they had to take down some heavy closet doors and lean them against a wall, they put a cloth between the doors and the wall so as not to scratch the wall. They suggested fixes that in my mind went above and beyond, such as putting a layer of primer on the sheathing to help it resist moisture, should my roof leak again in the future. Hopefully I'll never need them again in the future, but if I do, they'll be the ones I call first.

After that experience, I question both the company's substantive knowledge and their ethics. First, they used some pressuring tactics to try to get me to sign on for their services right away. They urged me to make a homeowners insurance claim right away, saying that the work would surely be more than my $5k deductible. I asked what if we just took some remediation efforts without a claim, and they said just having a dehumidifier and fan in here for several days would already run $3k so I might as well file the claim. They otherwise would not offer an actual estimate for anything. The next day when they reached out to follow up, I said I didn't think it was worth it to file a claim and be out $5k. They then miraculously said they could do remediation for $2-$3k without a claim. I also had them look at another area of the house where we had some mystery water but was now visibly dry. I thought it came from outside rain. The technician said we had a leak and needed a plumber. I got a plumber in later who removed dry wall to look for the leak. There wasn't one. The plumber seemed really trustworthy and replaced a part just in case and was not $$$. But seemed to badly reflect on Robinson.
