I used to frequent other branches way back when, but now that this location is conveniently on the way home from the office, I find myself stopping in for various transactions or sometimes just a quick one at one of their 3 ATMs outside. There's been times when I prefer having a teller help me, but because this branch can get extremely busy, especially at the beginning/end of the month like most financial institutions, I've walked in then right back out after seeing the crowded long lines. However, they typically can have 3-4 tellers at windows so if members know what they need without many questions, the lines can move fairly quick. I've also come in on an occasion or two to deal with problems/disputes on my account. That's when the folks at the desks are needed. You sign in at the small table in the middle of the branch, next to the line for teller transactions, then have a seat in their comfy couches or cushy chairs till called by the next available employee. It's here that you never know how long you'll have to wait, as people being helped on this side of things usually require more time to resolve whatever they got going on. I can say tho, every time I've been helped by someone at a desk, it's been handled well. Other services here is a coin machine that folks can bring their jars/jugs/buckets of change & dump it into this machine to cash out. Whether you want cash or to just deposit it to your account, the machine prints out a receipt which you take to a teller and say what you wish. It always reminds me of being at the casino & hearing the coins...cha-ching, cha-ching, CHA-CHING!!! Side note: depending on your account status, there may or may not be a service fee to use this machine, so ask first if you don't know what the rules are. Overall, this location is pretty good for service & stuff. More often than it you'll leave with no complaints. Sure does beat a lot of those big bank competitors!

We bought this property so that we could start a small property development company as our "side-hustle". We met with several larger name banks who took no interest in our project. Their advice was to just sell the property, as we stood to make a small profit. We ultimately met with representatives at Exchange Bank in Roseville, CA who were helpful and able to fund our project. Due to Exchange Bank's investment in us, we made a significant profit for our families. A few years later, I purchased another property, and Exchange Bank invested in me as an individual. After some work on my part to build the residence, I have a great investment property that is worth far more than my mortgage. I now have a checking account with Exchange Bank, and the staff, Jerry, Donna, and Carrissa have been fantastic on each project. I used to bank with the big banks and all I ever was is an account number, at First Bank they actually get to know you and you them. And imagine this: you can actually call the branch and speak directly to a REAL PERSON! Unheard of these days (which I try not to do too often, after all, they are working and I don't want to abuse this). A couple of years ago someone stole my checkbook and wrote $2,000 worth of checks. I caught it at 4pm and called them. They jumped right on it and actually called the Federal Reserve clearing center and had the checks stopped. If they hadn't done this I would have lost the money (check aren't like credit cards, once they've cleared the money is gone). I've used many banks before, both for personal and for business, and this is the best bank ever. Tell Steve, the Branch Manager, or Kamal, the Operations Manager I sent you, lol.

All in all, there may be better banks in the area if you are looking to open an account. We came into this bank to pay off a loan we had for a short time. I have never been a fan of Wells Fargo, and this experience solidified that for me. When we came in, they were sure we did not have an account with them, which isn't the case. We came in with a full check to pay off the car- because we didn't want a loan with WF. Nonetheless, when we gave them the check for the amount we were quoted for the payoff, we were told that the numbers in their internal system didn't match, which contradicts what they were saying. I asked the teller to get a manager or supervisor because what I can bring up online differs from what they are bringing up on their end. When we finally got a hold of a manager, they were quick to help, showcasing that the teller may need more training in this area. We were told to follow up with the auto department in the next 24-48 hours to ensure the loan was paid off as it should be. There is nothing more unsettling than leaving a bank where you just paid off a loan, where they tell you to call and confirm that they have done their job appropriately. The fear was confirmed. Outside of our 1:1 experience with managers and tellers, I want to speak to the location. We walked in, and the entire building smelled like marijuana, which is also concerning when they are dealing with people's money. Maybe a client came in, but perhaps it wasn't. The floor was dirty; the tellers were handing out in the back office, chatting away. Nothing about this location screamed this is where you should keep your money. It was concerning. If people see this when they walk into a WF bank for the first time, they wouldn't want to keep an account there.
