I first visited 58 Main BBQ & Brew (Brockport, NY) in January of this year, and from that very…read morefirst experience, I knew this place was special. The service is outstanding, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is welcoming and friendly--a combination that keeps me coming back. On my first visit, I ordered the Three Brothers Special, which lets you choose three different meats and two sides. I went with chicken, brisket, and ribs, and let me tell you--every bite was packed with smoky, tender, fall-off-the-bone goodness. It was the kind of meal that makes you sit back and appreciate great barbecue. Since that night, I've returned four or five more times. And here's the thing--I don't live in Brockport. I live in Pittsford, a solid 30-minute drive away. But when you find a place that not only serves amazing food but also makes you feel truly welcomed, it's worth the extra miles. Sue, my server on my first visit, made sure I felt at home, and the rest of the staff has continued that same welcoming energy every time I've returned. I've even made a few friends--regulars who recognize me now, and say hello whenever walk in. This restaurant holds a special place in my heart. After a long, stressful day, when I need to unwind and reset, I don't hesitate--I set my navigation to 58 Main BBQ & Brew and take the trip. Because sometimes, great food is just food. But when it's served with genuine kindness and a sense of belonging, it becomes something more. If you're looking for phenomenal barbecue, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the spot. Five stars, every time. My Order: 3 Brother's Special: comes with three meats. I chose half a chicken, ribs and brisket. My two sides were macaroni, salad and coleslaw. It also comes with a side of cornbread, which was delicious.

Another wanted Medium and got Medium Rare. Someone else wanted mac salad and got mac&cheese. Someone got a burger and it was blackened! I ordered medium buffalo wings and the sauce didn't taste right at all. Same for the blue cheese/ranch/i don't even know because taste was so off! Plus wings were also overdone. 1hr wait time and I get they were busy - we were chatting during this time as well. Noise volume was ok and not really has changed throughout the years but definitely might need a new chef. Also saw the kitchen violations - should've checked the seating too. One of us almost got hurt due to a broken chair. Someone else had a wobbly chair as well.

Large restaurant and bar area, a few side rooms for private events. We sat at the bar. Bartender was this super friendly guy, fast with the drinks and humor! Watched som w college football on the screens. Beer was icy cold and fresh not to mention great price. Not sure if it was a happy hour special or they are was so cheap! Stayed for a few beers, next time I'll try some food.

The bottom half of the bun was so saturated with grease that I couldn't pick it up and it was soggy, floppy and I couldn't eat it. I ate the meat with a knife and fork. The fries were crinkle cut, the kind you buy in the freezer section at any grocery store, and had no seasoning, no flavor, nothing special at all. I could have done better at home. Overall, very disappointing and gross. It's a shame. I wanted to support a local business, but burgers don't need to saturate the bun to taste good. When I go to a restaurant, I expect the food to be better than what I could make myself at home.
