A few times, I saw her son playing with the card machine, pushing buttons and trying to stick paper in the card slot. This place used to be a really nice laundromat ; it was clean, the attendant was good, and the machines were almost always working. The last two times I've been here half of the machines weren't working. I had to move a load of wet clothes twice from two different dryers that were not marked out of order but still did not work. I will give this place one more chance, but if things have not improved, Ill go somewhere else.

I have used this cleaner several times with no complaints. A couple of months ago I had an…read moreirreplaceable vintage Laura Ashley sweater repaired and took it to Carriage Cleaners on Bailey Cove. I just took it out of its wrapping since the weather has cooled. I'm not sure what happened, but the sweater is ruined. It's been shrunk and damaged. I'll never be able to wear it in public again. I haven't called to complain because frankly there is nothing they could do to make this right. The least they could have done was to tell me that it had been damaged, but they just gave it back to me wrapped in plastic on a hanger as if nothing had happened to it. They could have returned it to me without having cleaned it and said that they did not know how to do this properly. I had this sweater for 25+ years. It was one of my favorite pieces of clothing associated with many happy memories. Perhaps it's shallow to be heartbroken over a piece of clothing, but I am really hurt. Be warned.
