A full Two hour guided tour riding around the back lot on a 15 passenger electric cart. Super knowledgeable driver / tour guide (Zack) talks you through the various backlot sets and sound stages with video presentations on the monitors mounted in the cart. There are several stops where you can get off to experience and hear details about shows and movies that used these specific sets. Very interesting seeing the building facades and landscaped grounds and the history of the studio. Our tour included a snack / continental breakfast and a lunch at the Friends Central Perk cafe restaurant. Both offered a decent selection of food and drink items. In the morning they served juices, coffee, tea, water, chips, cookies, danish to munch on before the tour started. Caveat is you only have 15 minutes to relax and enjoy before leaving for the tour. Lunch break happened at the end of our two hour guided tour. The tour package lunch included a hot or cold entree, side dish and drink. We were surprised at the selection and quality of the food. Various hot and cold sandwiches, salads, chips and a full selection of hot or cold, large or small coffee drinks. Even some blended coffee drinks. We ordered the hot Cuban sandwich, Cobb salad and a large iced coffee latte drink. The Cuban was hot but a little bit soggy but still tasty. Cobb salad super fresh and healthy. Coffee drink was solid with creamy topping. After lunch you begin the self guided portion of the tour which is inside stage 48? Where the restaurant was located. Film technology and costumes on display with various interactive display to participate. Harry Potter, Batman, Superman and other blockbuster movies artwork, costumes and videos on display. So much to discover. Easily spent 2 hours in there. Surprisingly they told us we also had entry into the Superman Experience. We did not know this was part of the tour. It is not mentioned in the marketing online. Unfortunately we ran out of time and had to skip this. Too bad as I think it is super popular. Regardless the tour was unexpectedly very entertaining and enjoyable. Weather was great not too hot. Highly recommended for folks looking for a break from the theme parks. Totally different in a good way from Universal Studio tour.

Our tour guide, FREDDY, was a wealth of knowledge about the studio, the history, and every movie & TV show imagineable. He brought great energy, humor, and friendliness to the tour. We highly recommend asking for Freddy as your guide if possible. The tour itself was fascinating and fun. There is so much history on the Warner Bros lot. Central Perk cafe was a nostalgic dream come true. Good food at a reasonable price and so much Friends merch. There's an interactive walk-through gallery attached that shows so much history, lets you work a bit on post-production of film scenes, and photo ops with the Friends set and Big Bang Theory. The Superman Experience was incredible! Top Shelf all the way. It's an immersive event- part 3D video game you walk through, and part interactive exploration of the Fortress of Solitude. The area has a really cool bar that serves fun drinks and snacks. Finally we ended up at the self-guided DC Comics/Harry Potter museum where costumes and vehicles were on display. And they added in some cool interactive things to do as well. There's even a Sorting Hat that will tell you which House you belong in. But I protest the hat choosing Slytherin for me. That's BS. You'll drive past many historic structures, and past the homes of many stars (though you'll be going too fast to get a good look or photo). And you'll go up in the hills along Mulholland Drive. About halfway through the tour, at the Beverly Hills sign, you get out for a break and use the restroom. Unfortunately, you never get a good view of the Hollywood sign. Our driver was very knowledgeable and entertaining, and gave anecdotes about every site we passed. There a screen-like sheet covering the top of the van for shade, but you should use sunscreen as you will be in the sun for two hours.

My mom wanted to travel through South America, down to Argentina and then hop on a cruise to Antarctica. I've always seen deals for cruises to Antarctica from Argentina. So I had her call Albert for some advice on this type of journey. To my surprise, my mom had a terrible phone conversation with Albert. Not only was Albert rude to her, he criticized her for supposedly confusing him with her questions. The most shocking part was when he questioned why she would travel to Antarctica and that it was super hot! Um, really? I have no idea why he would think Antarctica is hot. Last I checked, it's -24 degrees Fahrenheit down there! And this was just the tip of the iceberg (pun intended). He then proceeded to tell her that he was really busy and that she was wasting his time. Told her to just go to his office instead. I understand if she's not a customer and just a random caller with questions. However, she was a referral from a customer. Even if she was just a random caller, why be rude to the person? The whole "Antarctica is super hot" comment was just perplexing. A travel agent made this comment...a travel agent. And to make her feel stupid for asking about cruises to Antarctica was unnecessary considering these cruises DO exist. The poor treatment of a referral from a regular customer was very disappointing.
