Em, our tour guide, was personable and knowledgeable, which made the experience even more engaging. We were able to visit the set of Friends (one of my favorites) along with another sitcom set, though I can't recall the name. I do wish there had been more sets included on the tour. The experience is a mix of guided and self-paced exploration, which offers a nice balance. It wraps up with a gift shop at the end. Overall, a really enjoyable and worthwhile experience.

I knew I had to book the bus at least 6 months in advance to make sure I got a great price and that the bus was available. The bus tour was one of our family activities for my 3-day family reunion in late July, consisting of 200 people. About 60 went on the bus tour. My family enjoyed the tour and had phrases of how great Steven and his team were. To top the great service we got, Steven even drove back to hotel that my family was staying in to bring back an iPad which one of my aunts left behind. Now that is beyond customer service! Steven, I thank you for taking great care of my family! I will definitely book again.

This was amazing because the level of time, energy and thoughtfulness I was given went beyond what some vendors provide even customers that wind up using them. We chose the 1 PM time slot, which is a 2-hour scheduled ride that includes two stops--one in Fillmore and another at Prancer's Farm on the way back. The ride was full with 16 guests, and the guides did a great job leading from both the front and back, making sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. Check-in was quick and easy, and they even provided complimentary popcorn and water, which was a nice touch before getting started. The ride itself was an absolute blast and definitely a solid workout--very similar to cycling, covering just under 10 miles round trip. The carts are super easy to use, with clear instructions from the guides. Each cart comes equipped with a front storage rack, cup holders, a hand brake (which you'll appreciate on the downhill!), an odometer, and a switch to toggle between manual and automatic. The assist mode really comes in handy on the uphill stretch heading toward Fillmore, while the ride back is a smooth and enjoyable downhill cruise. The weather couldn't have been better, and the scenery was incredible. Along the way, we took in beautiful views of avocado and lemon groves, cactus fields, and plenty of wildlife--squirrels, lizards, and even bees hard at work pollinating. It made the whole experience feel peaceful and immersive. On the way back, we stopped for about 20-30 minutes at Prancer's Farm, where we got to see a variety of animals including goats, pigs, bulls, and sheep. There's also a petting zoo option if you purchase tickets. The farm had a fun seasonal setup for Easter, along with a shop where you can buy fresh fruit, beef jerky, and other local goods. Overall, this was one of the most fun and unique experiences we've had. If you enjoy the outdoors, want a bit of adventure, and don't mind getting in a great workout, I highly recommend giving Sunburst Railbikes a try. Hopefully my photos--and this review--help you decide to book your own ride!

Riding over a moving rattlesnake in between the tracks was a startling surprise! I lived to tell the tale there! The first stop at the end of the route before turning the railbikes back was ok, but I feel there could be some kinda stalls or local art on display during the 15 minute break. Surely some vendors could set up something? The next stop going back was at Prancers Farm which was ok for some local produce. Having said that, a fruit smoothie or ice cream made locally would be a nice touch? I went to go look at the animals but didn't wanna pay $7 each person to do so. After this 30 min stop we went back to the depot. I experienced this adventure in early spring on a day which was maybe high 70s. I'm not so sure I would enjoy this in Summer.

Typically running about 45 minutes to an hour, the studio tour is a perfect break from escalators, lines, and walking around Universal. The guides are funny and engaging and though they usually touch on the same things, I find that each guide has a way of making the tour their own. I always enjoy going through the lot and getting a glimpse of what's being filmed, while also learning about the iconic movies, shows, and even music videos that have utilized the lot before. As a huge fan of Desperate Housewives, my favorite set is Colonial Street. While I'd love to see some updates or new things on the studio tour, having been on it more times than I can count I can still say it's my favorite ride and the thing I look forward to the most at USH.

You still the psycho scare, a look at the faux NYC filming backdrops, and or course Jaws. Which warms my cold nostalgic heart. I really enjoyed the 4-D King Kong adventure in the beginning, but I really missed the giant animatronic King Kong that I remember seeing as a kid. Make sure to sit in the second or third tram car. We were placed in the first tram car and basically missed everything from the flood to Bruce the shark jumping out of the water. My wife and I enjoyed the ride, but our kids (5 & 7) were over it after about 20-minutes. Shout out to our tour guide for all of the knowledge and fun behind scenes anecdotes.

Our guide, Ansley, was respectful, knowledgeable, approachable, and friendly. She really brought the stories to life and made everyone feel comfortable asking questions. The vintage funeral car was such a cool and fitting touch for the Manson Family Murders Tour (and the main reason why I booked the tour). About 80% of the experience was spent in the car, which was cozy and gave us plenty of time to soak in the history while listening to music from the era. Including Manson, The Beach Boys, and The Beatles, to name a few. We also made three stops along the way to get out, take photos, and see key locations up close. As a mortician, the experience carried an extra layer of meaning. I actually helped funeral direct the service for the LaBiancas' granddaughter (who had the same fate as her grandparents). So hearing and seeing this history firsthand felt deeply personal and surreal. If you're into true crime or Los Angeles history, this tour is an absolute must. Graveliners and Ansley made the experience both educational and unforgettable. We loved every minute!
