They opened today after about a weeks worth of setbacks. Couldn't hear the person I was talking to because the workers were screaming orders at each other. Food is alright, but damn that guy yelling orders needs to chill out!! read more

Seriously addictive burgers!!! My daughter loves snacking on the available peanuts while waiting our order. Typically fast service, and it's always good. The thin patties are cooked perfectly & they offer a bunch of toppings. They always give you plenty of fresh cut fries, I love them with malt vinegar! Everything is sold individually for ordering (ie: there are no combos/meals purchases.) If you're looking for a quick, delicious authentic, burger, this is my family's go to. read more

Love five guys burgers but now I love them even more that they make there burgers in a bowel for a restricted diet...

First time at this location, but we love Five Guys and asked Siri for the best burger joint in Wilmington and she stated the top rated was Five Guys. I wasn't surprised and of course we had a great meal. My burger was fresh and delicious. The staff was beyond friendly. Great experience. Thank you! read more

We love the burgers and fries here!! Only issue I have and I have let the manager know and since my burgers have been much much better. The issue was they were using a meat press or weight to make the burger cook faster and it was just drying out the taste of the burger so bad you couldn't choke it down. I think you just have to ask them not to use the weight. read more

I love the burgers here. I think they use better quality ingredients than most other burger joints. My problem was with their iced tea container. It's been some time ago but I got a large tea and when I tasted it I nearly puked. It had black junk in it and it tasted foul. I complained and the employee said they hadn't cleaned the iced tea urn! Nice to know they're so lazy. Needless to say, when I go here I get the bottled water. There's no telling if the soda soft drink machine is clean either. read more

High quality meat is used to make the burgers and the seasoning is just right. You can add loads of different toppings on your burger and the fries are thick cut and delicious with vinegar. Grab a hand full of the tastey complimentary salted peanuts while you're waiting for your food. I love this place. read more

Yum! Yum! Yum! Yum! Yum! Cajun fries! Yum! Yum! Yum! That's about it. Agree with previous posters, its up there with So Cal's In n Out Burger. They should marry each other and satisfy the world with burger babies. read more

I was excited to finally go here after all the great things I hear from everyone. First things first a little burger is a single and a regular is a double so don't order a regular because you will get a double. The grilled mushrooms and grilled onions are great on a burger. Burger was juicy but I don't know the food wasn't as hype as I thought it would be. Fries you can't stop eating that's for sure. One thing that I loved is they fill your cup of fries and still has some fries at the bottom of the bag. So if your a huge fry lover you would be in heaven here. Also found a bug in our cup which was nasty but I let it slide. Probably might give this place another try but not sure. Oh! Expect to pay a lot of money on your food. read more

Excellent everytime. Best Burger in Wilmington!!!

They are always good. They consistently make the burgers and fries how you would expect them at a 5 guys, greasy and delicious. This is my favorite guilty pleasure in Wilmington. I really enjoy the fries Cajun-style and mixing my own concoctions at the Coke machines. read more

It has been a while since we ate at 5 Guys. The cheeseburger, hot dog and fries were great. We splurged on milkshakes. They were a waste of money. They use milkshake mix which is fine if it is frozen sufficiently. These were not. YUCK. Better luck next time. read more

I too have been spoiled with In-n-Out Burgers and 5 Guys Burgers is right there with them! The burgers melt in your mouth and the fries are some of the best I have ever had. If you get a chance, stop by here and you won't regret it! read more

Go hungry, as you get a lot of food. The burgers are tasty, friends are great, and there are lots of extras you can add if you are feeling particularly adventuresome. I don't eat hamburgers very often but when I have a burger craving I want a good burger and this was worth the drive across town to Mayfair. read more

How can you possibly go wrong with Five Guys? We like this place and usually stop by late on the way back home from Raleigh as they're open til ten in the evening. This particular location has an outstanding crew and we occasionally make the 40 minute cross town drive just for the burger. Fast food is typically "fast food", but for a chain, this location really does make it your way. read more

Okay we all know that their burgers are at best average and thin and overpriced. We all know we just go for their great fries, well thats's changed because my last 3 trips there the fries are no longer great, they are soggy. So I see no pint to ever return. read more

Five Guys is a beacon when i'm feeling like an especially over-indulgent meal. Its unhealthy, i mean its burgers and fries, of course its bad for you, yet i CANNOT resist this place. The french fries are among the best I've had anywhere, and the burgers are perfectly juicy, not greasy, and delicious. I wish i didn't love this place so much, I would probably be a few pounds lighter. I'd tried five guys elsewhere, and when i moved to Wilmington, looked into buying a franchise myself if it wasn't here....but it was already here.... hallelujah! read more

Okay, greasy fries and burgers aren't for everybody or anybody on a daily basis ( I hope ), but when you do indulge in food like this, nobody does it better. Don't P-foot around here, get a burger and enjoy it for what it is.... Pure ol' fashioned griddle cooked, diner style awesomeness. read more

Burgers or Burgers - and to think that is a choice! When I brought burgers back to the office for everyone, Wow! every person was pleased!Everyone! I was impressed! all toppings are included (even grilled onions and mushrooms) I like the cajun fries and the giant box of peanuts to snack from while you wait. These guys mean burgers. Only go here if you want a burger. And you to will be hooked and returning again and again read more

Great burgers and my favorite fresh cut fries with Malt Vinegar. My only pet-pieve is when you get your order, they fill the paper bag with fries all over the burger. I spent a good 5 minutes sorting through them before I eat. read more

Unfortunately I really like this place LOL. The full-size burgers are HUGE, juicy, and delicious. The fries are awesome. This is not a healthy meal AT ALL, but is really tasty. I am usually not a burger person, but if I want one, I am going here. If you're craving a burger, and are very hungry, GO HERE. read more

Five Guys is pretty solid in my book and this location is great. Nice employees, very clean, delicious burger and hot fresh fries. Wilmington Five Guys gets FIVE STARS from me... read more

Great burgers and lots of fries fixed the way you request. Love the drink machine where I can get diet orange to my hearts content. Don't usually have much time for the peanuts but they are a nice filler. Juicey is the key word for the burgers and you can get one without the bun if you're cutting back. The smaller burger is usually enough for my wife and me. read more

Wow I wish I could give more stars cause this is my favorite burger place. The food especially the cheeseburgers and spicy fries are awesome! Love it! read more

The burgers here are delicious. Many toppings you can add to your meal. Also the fries are great and I love the extra fries you get. A little on the expensive side for burger and fries but the size of burger and amount of food you get is well worth the price. Plus all the peanuts you can eat. read more

Arrived late in Wilmington and needed to find a place opened late. This place was a short walk from my hotel. I got there about 5 minutes before closing and expected the staff to be reluctant to fill a late order. I was wrong, the staff took my order with no qualms. Cooked me a delicious double cheeseburger dressed out with grilled mushrooms. They even dropped a new basket of fries. I only ordered a medium fry order, the server put that serving on the bag and then dumped another scoop into the bag and gave me a wink. I love that level of service. Took the food back to the hotel and had a delicious meal. I know this is a small chain restaurant, but it is really good food and service. read more

Everyone, including the picky members of the family, went home very happy and can't wait to return! Great burgers, fries, dogs, peanuts, beverage machines, service, and location. Thanks for the great supper! read more

It's a burger. It's greasy. You get to put what you want on it. The taste isn't much different than Wendy's.

I really need two more stars! This place has awesome food. We never go to the "fast food" joints anymore so finding Five Guys was a blessing. The food is made to order and the service is always excellent. Wish there was another in Monkey Junction. read more

Good is good as always and the staff is fast and attentive. The floors are overly slippery and you will definitely fall if your not careful. Hopefully the staff will read this and use degreaser in their mop water next time they clean. read more

Love the burgers and the fries. Unfortunately there is way to much grease and we always end up taking half a bag of fries home. But it's good food, and a great price. and I've never been to a burger place that has peanuts also. read more

I don't understand all the hype about this place. The service was great. The food was not. The burgers were not juicy at all, they were over done and dried out. The fries were ok, they were warm, not hot and tasted a little old, not fresh. Nice clean place with free peanuts, but average food. read more

The burgers are by far the best in town! Add grilled onions to all that melted cheese and I promise you will go home happy. The service is always great! read more

I think this maybe the best hamburger I've ever had.and fries, keep up the good work guys!

As far as hamburgers go, this place is one of the best in town. They once made a mistake on my order, and when I pointed it out, they immediately fixed it. No attitude. They obviously value their customers returning, and I shall return. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! RIght off the bat when you look at the menu you will immediately thing it's on the pricy side. You won't feel that way once you get your order. They give you enough fries alone in a regular order to feed a family. The burgers are good, the service is fast and friendly and for the massive amount of food you get, it's worth the price. read more
