It's not the price on the burgers that keeps me from eating them; it's the QUALITY of the toppings....how thin they are as to be barely noticeable... There's no substitute for real bacon. A nice regular or thick slab of bacon.... And not one slice, but two hanging over the bun! You just can't get that here... Anyway, I do go for the fries here a couple/few times a year. Now they are unique... and if I'm gonna spike out my blood profile with fries, I can think of no better place to do that. The peanut oil is delicious! In short, I dub five guys as worthy! -G read more

Five Guys - Fries only! - Burgers Near Me - Fresno, California

I was desperate for food so I ordered from Five Guys. My last experience here wasn't great. Personally I don't think the food represents the price point. On this visit I was very impressed with the level of customer service. Every employee was laser focused on the customer experience. I was honestly in shock over how they were treating customers as this is how every place should do it. I got the Cajun fries and little bacon burger. As always I'm in love with these fries. The burger this visit was on the bland side. read more

The quality is decent enough, but their pricing is out of control. I have no problem paying $14 for a burger or even $25 for a burger but a five guys burger is $10 on a good day. I don't understand how they're able to stay in business in today's economy you can go to Chili's in $10 get a better burger, fries and a drink! read more

6/22/23 Getting lunch! Greeted upon walking in. Ordered a Veggie cheese sandwich. Paid for the order. Nice place. Clean and safe. Good music playing. Retro look with white and red square decor. Not real welcoming worker ordering, but the worker that delivered the order was. He called my number. #9 and delivered it with good day wishes! Lunchtime! The veggie cheese sandwich was cheesy and really good! Good. Free nuts too! Lol! Service got better too! Recommended! read more

Its been Sooooo long since I've been to Five Guys, so it was time to revisit an old friend. After getting out of Prison (more later) we decided to eat some healthy American food and FG's fit the bill. I ordered the little cheese burger, fries and shake ...I wasn't very hungry. As you can see even the "little" is BIG so don't let that fool you. The service is wonderful and refreshing, the servers are awesome here and work together well as a team kinda rare these days. Needless to say the food is delicious and worth the amount spent so order away and enjoy yourself. read more

Five Guys - Burgers Near Me - Fresno, California

I'm not a big fan of their food here. We were close by and my husband suggested this place since it's been a while anyway. The tables and chair were taped off outside and inside. I was a bit disappointed that we weren't able to even dine outside, especially since they were near a shopping center. Service was friendly. Enrique was the cashier and he had an upbeat personality and he was very friendly. Our food took a bit long. There were maybe 3 other people in front of us and 2 behind us. The two people behind us got their food before us and one other person before us. They had to do an emergency shut down after the two people behind us ordered. They placed a hand written temporary closed sign on the door but did not lock any of the doors. So, when people were coming in, the staff yelled out that they were closed. After we got our food, we decided to have a picnic in our trunk. Good thing I had blankets, it was pretty cold outside. We seen people walking up towards the restaurant and told them that they were closed. They said they ordered their food online. When the people tried to open the door, it was locked. One of the men kept knocking until a staff member was exiting. He told her that he placed an online order, she told him to try the other door. That door was also locked. He waited a few minutes before someone let him in. When he exited about 5 minutes later, he was upset and he had no food in his hands either. I would probably be upset as well. That was a waste of time for no reason. Again, food was just ok. It was flavorless. I even selected all the way on my burger plus with raw onions and jalapeños and it still did not hit the spot. The fries were good but not salted and not the best I've tried. This place wouldn't be my first choice for burgers that's for sure and plus it was pricey for just ok burgers! read more

The service tonight were was amazing! We walked in just before closing and they had the place all cleaned up. They never made us feel bad for coming in when other places will lock their doors 10 mins before they close. The food was great as always! Definitely recommend! read more

Wow!!! Fifty bucks for two burgers, frys and sodas, no wonder why the place was empty at lunch time. Not that tasty either. Never going back. read more

The service was terrible but the food was good we had to sit out side to have lunch because i think they were using the dinning room to hang meat to make hamburger. read more

My opinion, service is always slow and food is way over priced. Only come here if I'm being treated.

This location is awesome and the employees are always energetic and very nice from the moment we walk in. What I like about this location is the manager is always encouraging his employees and telling them they are doing great and the burgers he is receiving from them look amazing. That is awesome leadership and very encouraging and you can tell the employees enjoy working here The burgers are really juicy also and make sure to try out the Cajun fries! A regular is enough for my fiancé and I and we found that the large size fries is to much! Try and get "all the way" on the burgers and get the bacon cheeseburger! Is amazing and not to much food where you can't finish everything. Parking is very nice also and if you have a Tesla there is a charging station right next to here! Clean facility and clean bathrooms earn my 5 stars as well!! read more

Five Guys - Bacon cheeseburger & Cajun style fries - Burgers Near Me - Fresno, California

Well, I am really seriously done eating at five guys over priced burgers and fries. I understand that five guys gives you a lot of meat, but their patties are not tasty and their shakes are cheap. The only thing good about them anymore is the fries. I went to five guys yesterday and I ended up spending $29 for one person for a hamburger a shake and some french fries. This is a joke you're feeding me a hamburger, not filet mignon. I actually believe that Carl's junior has a better hamburger cheaper and I will never ever go back to five guys. I hope their corporate investors read this. read more

Quality is subpar. Spent $41 for 2 mid burgers, burnt medium fries and 2 flat, tasteless drinks. It's literally expensive for no reason. Spend your money elsewhere, we regretted spending our dinner time here. read more

Picked up five guys for dinner last night. Everything was good and fresh. We got a large Cajun french fry, two bun less Bacon cheese burgers in a bowl and one with a bun. Food was hot and ready to go. Sorry no photos, I was hungry and inhaled the food as soon as we got it home. Will definitely go again and recommend them for anyone who's never tried them. read more

Wow! Unbelievably professional service! From the moment we walked in we were greeted with smiles and greetings. The young man working the register was so friendly, helpful and professional! Same with the young lady that gave us our order making sure we had everything we needed. To the cooks who made our some what complicated order exactly as we ordered it. The young man cleaning the spotless dining room and emptying the trash can asking how we are doing and if we needed anything then wishing us a good day as we left. We haven't experienced such professional and friendly service in years! It's just something that's really been lacking in the service industry for years and has gotten severely bad since Covid it was so refreshing! The food was great also! I really wish I would have gotten each and every employees name so I could include it in this review. My husband who is not easily impressed told me after I wrote this review I should send an email to the corporate office which I'm going to do. Thank you to the employees here it may sound silly but you gave us more than great service and awesome burgers, you gave us hope for the next generation. Thank you so much !Bacon CheeseburgerBacon Cheeseburger read more

I've been on a little tour of burger joints. I'd heard a lot of good things about Five Guys. I remember having it in the Riverpark location and this location. It's pretty good, but I expected to be amazed. A couple of tips... the jalapenos are fresh cut nickel slices. The soft drinks are the Smart Coca-Cola fountains. They have flavors you can add, but on this location had run out of some of the flavors. The regular burgers are all double patties. The small burgers are single patties. The meat patties are nicely cooked and the veggies are all fresh. Our only complaint is the cheese. I recognize this is a matter of taste. American cheese is just not my favorite. At the last moment while ordering, I remembered there used to be big self serve bins of peanuts. You can still get peanuts, but you have to ask for them. The batch we got were a little over roasted and therefore crumbled while opening the shells. read more

I will start off by saying (typing, actually ) that In-n-Out has always been my barometer of a great hamburger. Having said that, my experience at 5 Guys and Fries was In-n-Out on steroids. So many commonalities. Freshly cooked, high grade beef, wonderful fresh bun, great, seemingly happy employees. The biggest difference is the meat. The patty is larger. You can taste the meat even with all the toppings. Also, many more toppings to choose from including mushrooms, bacon, and others shown in my menu pic. The fries, in my opinion, were far superior to In-n-Out. Much larger fries. Crisp outside and soft inside. And way more in the bag. Delicious, couldn't be better, maxi-fries. They also have roasted whole peanuts to munch before lunch. They are open until 10pm 7 days per week. You gonna love these burgers or your money back. (Well, maybe not, but you get the idea). read more

The food and service are decent, but I agree with the reviews about lack of value. We ordered a hot dog, fries and fountain drink and it came out to over $20. The hot dog could be easily be made at home--it's a normal size hot dog, probably around half the size of Costco's $1.50 hot dog. read more

Five Guys consistently delivers one of my favorite burgers in town. I don't know how they go about it, but I find both the burgers and the fries incredibly filling and highly satisfying. Yes, it is more expensive than McDonald's; you get what you pay for. This spot is great for me, both because of access to 99 and because of smaller crowds than the Riverpark location. read more

Soooooo cold inside. 45 degrees outside, no heat inside. Shivered throughout the entire meal.

Five guys fries and shakes are the best! It's just off the 99 and the people who work here are so friendly!

First off let me say that the burgers here are absolutely amazing!!! Everything seems to be done just right! The reason I give them 3 stars is for 2 reasons. First because they are on the expensive side for what you get. Second and more importantly is because they screw up your order a lot! Probably why they are so expensive because they have to constantly replace stuff read more

The food was very good, particularly the fries. Only two couples were seated inside and everyone else was doing takeout. Discovered why. It was so noisy inside that we couldn't carry on a conversation . One person yells every time a new customer enters. The cashier yells to the crew doing the cooking, they yell to each other . Seems to be part of their theater but very annoying. We may order takeout but will never eat there again . read more

great location not to far from my home, burgers & fries taste awesome just like the riverpark restaurant, this location has 2 digital soda machines with so many different flavors you could spend alot of time deciding which one to choose I wish every restaurant had them the staff were very helpful & friendly and it was a packed house too I think we came a day after the grand opening, I always order the same burger... little (single patty) bacon cheese burger with every thing on it except mushrooms, add BBQ sauce, jalapeños on the side, also large fries with a cup of Cajun seasoning on the side they are on the pricey side but everything is going up in price a big mac from mcdonalds is almost $5 smh, if your a fan of burgers & fries give five guys a try... sidenote: a little burger is a single patty & regular burger is two patties read more

Made a rather large order online, 10 burgers, 7 fries, 2 milkshakes. Should have been ready in 15 minutes, got there about 5 minutes late. Shakes were ready, waited another 13 minutes for the burgers and fries. By the time they were ready, the shakes were melted by then and had to have them remade. Seemed to have a bit of attitude like they were busy but weren't. Shakes were remade and we left. You would think that with an order that big, $175 it would have been ready on time. Burgers and fries were good, just inconvenient to wait for it. read more
