Austin Yelp is littered with cab/transport horror stories; late pickups, no shows, unprofessional drivers and so forth. Luckily I have never ever experienced any of these with Hicham. If you need a ride to ABIA at 430AM he arrives at 420AM. Pickup is a breeze as he monitors your inbound flight and is always on time rain or shine or during rush hour. Many a times I've texted him that I've caught an earlier flight or I'm delayed and he is always accommodating. I've also used Hicham for personal travel, Cedar Park to downtown, for SXSW and when visitors are in town and we need a DD. After the appeal, the situation was quickly corrected, and by the next stage of the incident we were waiting for a much more comfortable transport solution. This made a positive impression, especially considering that there was a reaction and a desire to correct the situation. The drivers were professional, the organization on the routes - without significant failures. There are things that can be improved in terms of communication and transparency in the choice of transport, but in general the experience remains rather positive.

As the Father of the Bride I was shocked when the bus that showed up to bring our guests to the church was a school bus. After the ceremony I called Abdul to address my concern. After speaking to him it became clear that in reality the mistake was ours, not his. We had chartered a "transit" bus, which when you look on the website is a school bus. I wish the contract was more specific; as "school bus" certainly would have jumped out. But live and learn. Now to the good part. With my frustration high, Abdul was calm, cool and reasonable. He immediately realized I was not happy and kicked into high gear to see what he could do. While we had to take the school bus back to the hotel, by the time we left for the reception...less than one hour later...a gleaming full scale motor coach was sitting in front of the hotel instead of a school bus. Wow! I can't thank Abdul enough for stepping up. I was thoroughly impressed.
