She focuses at the beginning of each session on determining exactly what the patient needs--her diagnosis is detail-oriented and flawless, because she is a keen observer and actually listens to her patients. So many people want to become acupuncturists and herbalists these days, and are so quick to think they are experts without putting in the time it takes to become a master. Pao truly is a master, and has the humility that comes from understanding the truly unfathomable depths of acupuncture and herbalism. My words cannot properly convey the level of wisdom he has. Chinese Tonic herbalism is over 5,000 years old and has been used by billions of people. As an example, this last winter in 2018, my son was ill for over 2 months. I took him to a local western doctor here in Boulder and there was nothing they could do. They told me to start eliminating items from the house that he may be allergic to.
