The Treasure Box is one of those stores you don't see very often these days, but it also means you…read moreneed to be in the right mood to really appreciate it. If you are expecting to walk in and find store shelves lined with merchandise then you're going to be shocked. The store is an old school "junk" shop where there are mountains of stuff stacked on top of each other. I said you have to be in the right mood because this isn't a casual stop in, no you have to be willing to get on your knees and possibly your hands, dig through stuff, ask questions. Sadly I was not in the mood on this trip, but I still managed to find some cool stuff! The owner is friendly and very helpful. If you have a few hours, a bigger car, and a need to dig through stuff to find treasure then you've found your place.

After one confirmed it, both sales girls said they wouldn't even notice. I had to defend my position still. Older sales woman blamed sending it out, since they have no control & that it may be crooked again. Don't get anything that needs to be sent out since they will not guarantee the work.

I brought in 2 fantasy sports plaques to get engraved at Things Remembered in the Lehigh Valley…read moreMall. The girl who "helped" me could not even understand how she was going to get the plates attached to the plaque off. To say she wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed, is an insult to dull blades. When I was able to show her the screws that attached the plate to the plaque and that they would be able to screw them off, she got around to writing up my order, without quoting me the price. I was going to need 5 plates engraved in total (3 from one plaque and 2 from the other) She rang up my order and it came up 108 dollars!! 1 hundred and 8 freaking dollars!! Lucky for me my wife was with me cause she gave me a death stare that communicated to me bad things if I slid my cc thru the machine. Needless to say, I did not get the plaques engraved there. In the end, I brought them to a local trophy store (Crown Trophy in Emmaus, PA). The total to get the 2 plaques engraved?? 15 dollars!! And, they did a great job, even replacing one of the plates that was really scratched up, for free. The THING I will REMEMBER about this experience is never go to Things Remembered again!
