I was there to buy a lilo and stich sketch book. I was not sure where to start looking. I approached a gentleman and asked him " Sir, I am looking for a lilo and stich sketch book." He pointed to the area where the sketch books would be. I do not like people to point around a store when you are needing to find something. I proceeded to go in the direction he told me and still could not find what I was looking for. I then went back to him and showed him a picture of the particular one I needed. They had it in stock, but I could not find it on my own and need more assistance. I had to beg for him to just walk over there and show me where they are. When we reached the location, he reached out and grabbed the exact one I was looking for. If he would have done that in the first place, I could have saved some time. He then tries to make me feel stupid for even asking him for help. He said "See, you just have to look for it", when he handed the book to me. Pointing around and store that the employee is familiar with and expecting the customer to know where to go is unacceptable. He was very sarcastic and saying , " Have a nice day"! When I was clearly frustrated with his way of customer service. I found out from the other gentleman that was there that he was the a manager. I was shocked to know that.
He needs to know what it takes to become a manager or leader of a company or store. I was very disatisfied with this type of customer service. read more
