The store definitely smelled stale, but some of the items were clearly new. The style of clothing was outdated, in my opinion, but they did have a nice selection of shoes. The main issue that I had was that the used, non-designer shoes were overpriced. I didn't see anything under $29.90. The staff didn't acknowledge us on our way in or on our way out. Would not recommend.

During my visit, there were some teenage delinquents in the store goofing off and a store associate or manager began yelling for them to stop and leave. I'm not sure what the best manner to handle this situation would've been, but I didn't feel like yelling from a great distance was it. This combined with the extremely long wait at checkout (when there was only one other customer ahead of us and multiple associates standing around doing seemingly nothing) was quite off-putting. I haven't been back since.

I have been in here before around Christmas time to buy sheets (800 thread count queen set for $48) and a few times later to get odds and ends for my kitchen and those experiences were similar. For home goods, they have paper rulers around the store which is so smart. This Home Goods is also ALWAYS clean and organized. Something I cannot say for the Castleton location. Additionally the associates are fantastic. We needed help getting the mirror to the register. The manager (Julie) had an associate get a mirror cart. That associate (Kate maybe?) placed it on the cart and wheeled it to the register. And then because a line had formed, hopped on the register. She even helped us get it into the car. And when we weren't 100% sure if it would fit, Julie came out to help us. Above and beyond. Thanks so much! The mirror looks great and a bargain for $80.

The cashier there by the name of Anita was working extremly hard and at a very fast pace to get the customers taken care of in her line what really caught my ear was her extremly pleasant attitude towards each customer and she smiled and thanked everyone of them for shopping at the Dollar Tree When my turn came up I asked her about the situation and she told me she was the only employee there. Employees like Anita are very hard to find there is also another lady by the name of Sharon there that is also very plesant she always welcomes you to the Dollar Tree when you walk in the door. The Manager and those 2 ladies I mentioned are fantastic people I always have a smile on my face when I go there They all work very hard there

They shortened hours on Labor Day. From the outside, the place seems small with bigger items typically outside to grab drivers' attention. They have a variety of (new and used) merchandise including furniture. It is like a Goodwill store but more organized. I was told that the items were donated, and they do not have sales. I bought a lap desktop with folding legs and section holders; it would be so helpful especially when I tend to find writing utensils that have fallen between the couch cushions. Also, a green long-sleeve dress shirt caught my eyes so I had to go look at it, which happened to fit me; how could I resist buying this name-brand, attractive shirt! I used that coupon for the shirt, so I got more savings than for the desktop. There seem to be a couple of spots I would like to try to wash out of the shirt. So both $5 or less. Sold! When I got home, I realized that maybe the shirt was new because there was a spare button attached. I will see if the ink on the sleeve comes out. I think the store changed its name to Noble Cause (but still led by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul) and did change their hours to M, T, Th, and F 9-3 with Wed. and Sat. only to serve from the Society of St. Vincent de Paul's food pantry. I would return when and if convenient but definitely if I get a coupon.
