Also, it appears to be the only one in Jackson. The shop is neat, easy to move about. The back issues are the most finely organized I've ever seen. Every title has a tab, even if there's only one available. I like that the year and number of issues in the run are included with the tab. Now for current back issues, there's barely any. Nice selection of the Marvel Select action figures for an impulse buy. Pricing in general is on point. Didn't see anything overpriced. Didn't see any back issues more expensive than the cover price. In fact she has a nice section of used trades--"used" but could easily pass as new. Got a near mint copy of Fantastic Four Season 1 trade for half the cover price. Selection on independent titles is subpar. The only image titles she had besides TWD were invincible and outkast as they were the requested. I could understand, she has a business model that works: sell the stuff that sells. Overall this is a great local comic shop. Come stop by and meet Rethel (rhymes with lethal), the coolest grandmother in Jackson. Also, request Southern Bastards! It's such a good comic!

It's time to update this review!…read more Two years ago my biggest complaint was the lack of options for female "build your own character" Lego pieces. Today that's no longer a problem. They have so many girl and boy pieces to choose from as well as a variety of skin tones as well! It's fantastic. The store just keeps getting better, too. There is so much for kids to see and do and that includes interactive Lego games the crew here has crafted together. It's really worth stopping in to check out their selection. Another gripe from my review two years ago was the price point. I feel like this has become more reasonable as well. (This of course doesn't include the prices for some of the very rare items they offer -- those prices are reflective of the availability or lack thereof in the Lego market) The staff here is SO damn friendly. My son left his birthday build-a-bear stuffed animal behind (on accident) and an employee recognized it and ran out after us to return it to us. If you're looking for Lego friends, Lego animals, or unique Lego accessories then I can't recommend this place enough!

However after shopping there 5 months later, it looks tired and slightly dingy. The HVAC wasn't working, so there were clear plastic vents run along the ceiling to provide air conditioning using a propane generator (as the clerk explained). I find very good deals at Ollie's on: sheets, towels, kitchen baking pans and pots, coffee pods, and toiletries.

But next to the museum, they have the actual home of the real-life Casey Jones. If you have an electric vehicle, there are plenty of chargers on the property to charge your vehicle. I would hazard a guess that there are not a lot of other options in Jackson, Tennessee. This tourist trap is conveniently located just off of the interstate and if you are in Jackson, Tennessee, it is worth stopping by and checking out. All in all, it is a pretty cool place to check out if you are in the area or just passing through. I would give it four stars as an overall rating.

Had an engine similar to Casey's that you could check out and take pictures with. Afterwards went and saw Casey Jones house, that was moved from its original location. It wasn't quite as exciting because it had much of it glassed up. Then we went to Casey Jones' actual grave and paid our respects. The grave is not onsite, and it's problematic to get to. I thought the restaurant was nice, and the food was better than expected. Wifey loved the shopping in the village. We had a good time and will go back maybe as a weekend trip.
