I have to check everything I buy as it seems a lot of stuff is out dated for sale and a lot of the fresh foods should be out dated and are rotten so i have to really be careful with what i buy. I do like it when they have sales on like canned foods and beans but i check the dates with everything just the same and end up usually putting back at least one or two cans that have expired. For a small store it is pretty darned friendly here and for that reason i don't mind watching for dates and quality before buying.

My problem is I have bought fryers on 3 different occasions and had to return them, but that problem has been corrected. I bought a head of iceberg Lettice which had green leafs on the outside and brown on the inside, potatoes that were bad on the inside. I realize you have to compete with Wal Mart, Cash Savers, and Krogers. It is getting to the place that I do drive to Humboldt and other places to buy food because of the higher prices you have and the quality of items. I've always until recently been an advocate of shopping at home and supporting my home town.
