The handmade pottery is beautiful and priced very reasonable - there are small certified cards inside that tell you when/where/who made your art- a very nice touch. They also have a nice selection of geodes, agates, healing stones, and other decorative stones which are very trendy right now. Their clothing selection features mostly T-shirts and similar garments screen-printed with Native-inspired images. They also have jewelry cases along the wall that extend 2 complete walls of the shop; complete with lots of silver and beaded items that are just beautiful. This is a really cool shop loaded with neat goodies, and it's unlike any shop I've ever seen as it focuses on Native offerings which are beautiful and well-made. I have purchased several real geode/stone magnets, large geode bookends, pottery, and some home decor items- I always find something to take home with me! If your pockets aren't quite as deep, then you can go with the misc brands that they carry. The t-shirts are screen printed and run under $10, and you can easily find a hoody around $20. Just don't expect too much from the quality, but then again, you get what you pay for. On top of apparel, they also carry some misc goods. It was constructed as a "lifesaver" after the Johnstown Flood of May 31, 1889, the Incline has more than lived up to its original lifesaving purpose. I read that flood waters again swept through the Conemaugh and Stonycreek Valleys on March 17, 1936 and July 20, 1977. During both floods, the Incline carried men, women, children and vehicles to safety and help. It is one of the longest and steepest hoists in the world and one of the few transportation systems of its kind still in existence and has its place in the Guinness Book of Records as "The steepest vehicular inclined plane in the world." The incline is closed for refurbishments set to be completed in Spring 2023. We were thrilled to see a large American flag flying above the incline. The flagpole is 125 feet tall and is on the highest point above the valley. I am sure that this flag can be seen for miles.

Several people were sitting in the store, at least one of which was either an employee or the proprietor, and they literally went business by business and said negative things. If that wasn't bad enough some homophobic remark followed. I set my items down and walked out. Left a HORRIBLE impression for not only this shop but for Berkeley Springs as a whole. Not an environment I want to be exposed to or tacitly endorse by spending money in.
