This either took over a former anchor spot for the mall, or it was built brand new with an entrance…read moreto the mall built along with the store. Like most Ross's this one has become low on merchandise. I'm not sure if this is a trend now, having less merchandise to make it look like sales are going through the roof or if this is a sign that this chain is struggling in the money making area? Either way, finding a buy here is difficult. When the stock shrunk, so did the sections in the store. The men's section seems to have taken the biggest hit. This spot has registers at the main entrance of the store and at the mall entrance. So whether you plan on shopping more in the mall or just leaving afterwards that makes it easy on you.

Today I went to return a few things and one of them happened to be a pair of boots. My daughter had worn them inside the house for probably 10 minutes. When the lady snatched the shoes she said they were worn outside. I said okay even though they were not. The lady working was very rude. I understand that not everything can be returned but the workers attitude towards me and my daughter was very negative. I also had a pair of shorts that were my sons. The worker told me I should not bother returning them and she simply walked over to the other register and rolled he eyes. She treated us like we were not worthy of her time. She treats customers like the are not worthy while she is the one being paid to deal with costumers and help make the shopping experience at this store the best it can be for the customers. This lady and her attitude have definitely made me and my family rethink where we shop.

Honestly, from the outside, this looks more like a strip mall than a 'Mall'. We walked in the…read moreetrance marked Dubois Mall between Big Lots and Ross and sure enough, it's a 'Mall'. Besides anchor stores Ross and Big Lots, there is a large J.C.Penney. The interior public areas are quite wide, with high ceilings. An average sized Bath & Body works and GNC are located in this section of the mall while many of the other businesses are smaller 'mom and pop' type businesses including a kitchen store, a craft store, a remodeling business and HW Book Peddlers to name a few. Wandering down toward J.C. Penney, there is a wide, bare hallway that looks like a dead end. Being of a curious nature, I wandered down there to find another section of the mall. Not as big, it runs parallel to the other section and J.C. Penney is also accessible from here. The mall office is located off this corridor and in front of this was a display of moving dinosaurs! That was a fun surprise. This section includes DuBois Cafe, Uzi's Pastries, two recruiters, Claire's and a nail salon plus more. Like many malls in America, this one is hanging on; not the haven it was in the 80's or 90's. The anchor stores are definitely worth stopping in to visit, and there are several discount stores of one type or another scattered throughout worth a look. That McNulty's looks like a childs heaven with all the stuffed animals! One area is set aside with arcade games. A few other game machines are scattered throughout the mall as well as several soda machines. Empty shop windows have been painted with cartoon characters which is festive. The wide hall ways make a nice space to stretch your legs on a cold, rainy day. There is lots of parking and a fair number of mall entrances. You can easily spend an afternoon window shopping. Who knows you may, like us, find a couple of items to buy. Then stop by the cafe for a snack or meal and walk off the calories or sit on a bench and do a bit of people watching. There are also several other businesses that share the parking lot including a restaurant and a movie theater. I understand the beginning of the Beaver Meadow Trail starts somewhere near the Mall. I'll have to go find that. When it stops raining.
