So, if you purchase 2 identical items, but have a third item of lesser value, it only takes off the one lesser value item. Not truly a buy one get one. Anyway, in my confusion the manager (I assume) informed me in a very rude and condescending attitude that she had been in retail over 30 years and this is how every business operates. When I said I didn't think that was correct, she just walked off. I also witnessed several other customers asking the same question.

There were games for NES, Atari systems, various versions of Gameboys, PS1, PS2, GameCube, modern consoles, DS, and more. I was looking for games for my Commodore VIC-20 and didn't see any, but it's a pretty obscure system so it's a big ask. The prices were sometimes expensive but not nearly as much as eBay, and they had a selection unlike any game store I've been to. I feel like the items sold were worth the price. While I didn't end up buying anything, I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

Our first couple tries, they were closed because of winter break according to a written sign on the door, and a second time I think they just closed early that day. (this was maybe 2019 or 2020). Anyways, I eventually made it back out that way (it's about an hour drive for me) with a buddy, and it was worth the trip. The guy working the desk was helpful and friendly. They had a great selection of throwbacks. I recommend shopping here especially if you live out that way near the kennesaw area. Businesses like this are rare, and we are lucky to have it. Lots of toys, stuffies, and blind boxes for my little girl to get excited about. The trains in the front caught her attention and the many statues throughout the store she loved too. My wife had a good time helping me look at Gundam models and paints for my Warhammer army. We spent a good amount of time in the gaming room getting her some sleeves for her cards and checking out the books, figures, and tables set up for gaming. Ended up getting a few things and was an easy process. I think for the price of everything we got a good value cause we could have easily gotten everything online but I think part of what makes this place amazing is the passion the staff has for the hobbies, the amount of options they carry, and then if they don't have something you want (Warhammer stuff is what I was looking for) they will order it for you. We will for sure be back again cause I know I'll need more paints and I have my eye on a few models I saw in the Gundam/anime section.

This Kohl's is off to it's self and sits directly on Cobb Parkway. Parking is not an issue, as this Kohl's has this ginormous lot all to itself! So, if you don't find a parking spot, you didn't try at all. Like most Kohl's the store was well kept, organized and clean. Condition wise you could see the age of the store on the flooring, ceiling and in the dressing room, but it was just your normal wear and tear of a retail spot. Speaking of dressing rooms, that is the only place that was a little off, as it was piled with clothes that had not been ran back to the racks. Not sure if they hit it once a day, but if so...that makes for a long night for whoever gets that duty! I have noticed that Kohl's has dropped stock in Men's formal wear as they majority of the items available are flat colors and separates instead of patterned and sets. The sets don't bother me, but I did want a little pop in my slacks or jacket, but sadly could not find it at this location. Overall, I am a Kohl's fan and even have the credit card to prove it. I do not frequent this part of town, but when in need or in the area, this Kohl's is a solid spot to shop.

Stayed at the Hampton Inn in Kennesaw which is close to Town Centre Mall where we go each year (except last year because of Covid) for the Grandkids to meet Santa. My wife says she always forgets to pack something and when we got up the next morning (Black Friday) we discovered she forgot to pack my underwear or at the briefs. Time for a quick run to the store and when I asked her where she wanted to go, she said Kohl's since that is where the rest of my underwear came from. Quick search on Google and we found this store which was only about 5 miles away and also about 2 miles from Truist (formerly BB&T) which we also wanted to hit. Found it easily. Store was busy but not packed but for Black Friday, they had been open since 5am. Good selection and with six registers open, shopping was a breeze. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Not sure if they if they are like this the rest of the year but they sure made a great impression of one of the most hectic shopping days of the year. Very well organized and staffed.

I really didn't expect much. However, I left my items and they gave me a receipt, and promised to text me when the evaluation was done. My ID was checked many times So they did text me. Since I wanted cash and no store credit I earned $1.97 instead of $3.54. What I learned from this is, that bartering might work for some people, if they are trading in things. This is not for me. We were in the area for a good while and my family member received a text that their items were ready. I believed that mine would soon be done to follow. A few more hours passed and I still didn't get a text so I called in to check. I was extremely disappointed when I was told that my buy hadn't been started. They stated it was because they were busy. Although, when I questioned if they were busy how were they able to finish my family members buy so quickly. They didn't have a response for me other than they had other buys from the day before that they had to finish. I still don't understand how my family members stuff still got finished if that was the reason. When I asked how much longer it would take they couldn't give me an answer. I do not live close so this was extremely upsetting for me because if they had a lot left over from the day before it should've been stated when I dropped it off. About two hours before closing I got my text so I had to drive and pick up my stuff. Once I arrived I was told I was getting a very small amount for items that were in brand new condition or to get 50% more value if I chose store credit. I really wish they updated their system and valued the items at a higher price point and not such a drastic change from cash to store credit. I only came here and settled for the cash because I am clearing up space for a move. If you want what your items are valued don't ever come here.
