This is a a service center where they actually fix things instead of just replacing expensive "components" like the auto dealers do. I use them for all of my auto needs from battery, tires, brakes, bearings, alignment, electrical and anything else that may be required. They have always fixed things properly , the first time and at a very fair price. If you have an auto problem, take it to Kawartha Import and don't let the name fool you. They fixed my Chevy too.

Mechanic gave me bs story about how the timing had to adjust itself again, etc, blah blah. I told him I'd bring it back if didn't improve. Within an hour, it stalled out twice. I had it towed back and they didn't fix it for 5 days. Yes, 5 DAYS! ...even though I'd already paid for a working vehicle. I had to get rental during that time as 5 days too long without a vehicle for obvious reasons and owner finally agreed to pay for it as I asked him 'why am I paying for your mechanics mistake?' (by the way ..I paid $200 more for repair when they had to get a new part ..apparently $200 was difference between new and used) He agreed to pay and I submitted the bill the next day. When I went to pick up cheque today...I got a note saying that he WASN'T gonna give me a cheque because the amount on the bill was incorrect. (there was a $30 hold fee or something) The bill just went through on my visa last night so I see he's right. Instead of giving me a cheque for revised amount..he gave me nothing...so I AM PAYING FOR MECHANIC'S MISTAKE and my truck is STILL not running right. The RPM's jump from 1-4 at random times. I'm assuming (I know) that there is just a wire he hasn't connected quite tight enough but obviously I'm not going back there and because I just paid $500 total for repair plus car rental fee....I can't afford to get it checked elsewhere. You hear about girls being taken advantage of...I'm embarrassed to say...this time it was me. Thank you ONE STOP AUTO...for making me feel like a naive little girl
