Who can honestly say that they enjoy the whole "buying a car" process? I surely cannot! I actually hate the entire process. But, buying a car at Fitzpatrick's CJDR has shed light on the car buying experience altogether. Mark Fitzpatrick is the MAN!!! He was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, funny, and most importantly, he was honest. Mark is the reason I keep going back to Fitzpatrick's and will continue to for my next vehicle. read more

worst dealer ever ...do no go there . They charge me 2 hours labor to clean up some codes .. they never fix the problem .

Ordered a 2025 Ram and drove it away a month later. Ask about the Tread Lightly affiliate program - over 5% discount off MSRP before incentives. Everyone there was terrific. Would highly recommend! read more

What happened to their service department? Walk in and all the service guys walk out of the building? Come back prior to 5 pm and have to find my own car in the lot? $500 charge to replace a battery? Very disappointed. read more

Never again will I bring my vehicles here for repair, and will never consider buying a vehicle from this disorganized, unprofessional, and unskilled dealership. I've had both my Jeep and Charger here over the past month and service is absolutely HORRENDOUS! The service manager is disengaged and has no idea how to run a service department. He has no idea what's going on with the vehicles being serviced in his shop and makes excuses for their lackluster performance. Everyone in the service department makes excuse after excuse. My charger had an instrument cluster that will not turn off when the car is off, causing a dead battery every night. They delay repairs, do not research the issue (making me have to research forums and call other dealerships, telling them what the issue is). They then forget everything you've told them by the next week out appointment and have no idea or recollection of what's going on with your vehicle. They actually recommended me bringing the car to a private auto repair shop!! They are running around frantic everytime I'm in there and no one has a clue what's going on. They are dreadfully understaffed and their quality of work shows. I brought my Jeep there several weeks ago and had similar issues with them using my parts for someone else's vehicle and then blaming it on Chrysler and me for their error. Do yourself a favor and NEVER come here. read more

Recently I brought my grand cherokee in for service at fitzpatrick's dealership. Derek and Jim went up and beyond to resolve my issue and thank them for that. read more

Recently had a couple things done with my Jeep. Scheduling was easy and fast. Service was good. Jeep was ready when stated.

Excellent customer service. I bought my new jeep here and they are always friendly and listen to any questions or concerns you may have. I would recommend them to anyone I know. read more

I had brought my truck to their "service" center to have recall work done on 3 different occasions (for the same issue) over a 6 month period. The first time they ordered and installed a part that had nothing to do with the recall. They said for the recall the truck had, I needed to find a dealer with a body shop. Apparently it's a thing that no Chrysler dealers in any reasonable distance of where I live have them. I bring the truck back to them, and they say to take it to a local body shop they work with to get an estimate. I get this done and two months later still haven't heard anything. I bring it back to the dealership for an oil change and ask them in person what the status is and they tell me they need me to go back to the body shop and get another estimate. A month later, I still haven't heard anything back so I call them for the service "manager" to tel me they are waiting for Chrysler to approve the work. Another month goes by without hearing from them and I call again. This time I'm told Chrysler didn't approve the work and I need to call them to get them to approve it. I love doing the dealers work and I have nothing better to do right? This is all while my tailgate randomly pops open while driving down the road, doesn't matter to them. So I call Chrysler and here's the best part....apparently Fitzpatrick fraudulently closed out the warranty as work was completed by them the first time I took the truck to them in December. They did zero work and billed Chrysler and got paid for fixing my truck. Stay away from these criminals and take your business elsewhere. read more

Let's see how long it takes for you to eliminate this post. Your surveys are created to work on your deficiencies, not just to bolster your proficiencies. Cancelling a customers order of service because they gave you a bad review is not only foolish, it's detrimental to your name. Your dealership is not the only Jeep dealership in the state and because of your poor judgement, terrible customer service and narrow minded thinking, you have single handedly eliminated HUNDREDS, IF NOT THOUSANDS of potential customers because a single customer pointed out a deficiency of your poorly managed organization. Excellent work... Well done‍ read more

Horrible experience.... Brought my car in for recalls and it took forever to schedule. Finally get the car in there and they take all day, recall stuff not done. They call at the end of the day with some horror story that my car is a death trap... blah blah blah!! No loaner offered and I have to find my own way home from work... But hey the upside is they can repair it all for $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.. Sounds to me like they manhandled the car, broke some stuff and wanted to upsell me on other stuff.. I said no thanks!! Went down to inspect what was in need of repair and got a totally different story from the mechanic. Had them do all the recalls and towed the car to my regular mechanic who did twice as much work for half the price. Fine with me, it's a used car and it will always need something. But I'd rather pay my guy a fair price then get ROBBED in broad daylight by these guys.. BEWARE, ASK QUESTIONS AND INSPECT EVERYTHING!!! read more

Only time will tell if the work was done properly. They finished it on time, but barely. My biggest concern was that I told them when I needed the vehicle back (or I would have to rent a vehicle for a planned trip). They sat on it for almost two days before calling me with the diagnosis, confirming what I had already told them and then got it finished at the last minute of the third day, when the work could have been done in half a day. I have been doing all my own car work for 54 years. I had them do the work because it was under warranty. Seems like an amateurish, shoestring operation compared to a BMW dealership. read more

Horrible place to do business with. Salespeople there are so unfriendly and unwilling to work with the public. Stay far away. Go to Milford Jeep. read more

My wife and I had a great experience here. We wanted a very particular Wrangler and Ansonia had it in their inventory. We don't live near Ansonia, so we tried about 5 other, closer dealerships (some of which said they had what we were looking for - only to get to the lot and they didn't). **btw - Greenwich is the WORST. But Mark and his father were very professional, very helpful and made it a painless experience. Sorry to read the other 1 star review on this. Maybe that review helped change things? I have nothing bad to say about this dealership. read more

Worst experience I ever had. Have been taking my jeep for regular service and today was informed they needed to "sever" ties. It was ok when they damaged my jeep over the recent service visits. When the fault became theirs and they had my jeep for 3 weeks I was expected to stay home and do nothing since it was a major issue that I had put 3000 miles on the loaner. I was inconvenienced not being able to use my rear door for a month before getting it fixed, due to the fact we had to wait for the parts and then to Rudely be told by the service manager they were not going to do the oil change and tire rotation and they were not participating in the Corporate offered oil change special was wrong. This company has gone down hill and will find out you cannot treat the consumer so badly. The owner being just as inconsiderate. Stay clear of Fitzpatrick's because they will screw you unless it benefits them!! read more

Super disappointed. Up until this point I loved Fitzpatricks they were always great, zero hassle and not super expensive. I made an appointment to get an oil change, get my driver side window fixed, and fix an exhaust leak. I was told I should take it back to whoever did work on it prior. After two days of them having the Jeep I picked it up they didn't change my oil or fix anything. My window still doesn't work and My Jeep still sounds like a tractor. I'll never go back there. read more

These guys are the unicorns of car maintenance and repairs. I've been a loyal customer for years, since I bought my first Jeep in 2003, and they've never let me down. They're comprehensive, smart, and honest. What more could you ask for ? read more

Once I decided to get a new jeep, I did some shopping in many jeep dealers in New Haven and New York area for best possible deal. Fitzpatrick gave me the best deal which was far less than many other dealers in around. Mark is awesome in responding with correct information accurately, and swiftly. No surprises, no hidden charges, no gimmicks at all. He was very straight forward in what he can do and what he cannot do. I love the experience. This dealership may not be the best looking shop in the area but by far they are the best people in the area with honesty and integrity. A hidden gem in my opinion. read more

So after talking to many dealerships about ordering a 2017 model Charger Scatpack, I decided to go with my local neighbor dealership Fitzpatricks. I can honestly tell you that it was the worst decision EVER trusting Peter the sales guy (or whatever he calls himself) and the whole management there. Fitzpatricks told me it was the last week to order (According to Dodge customer service, its in two months and other dealerships said mid-June) so I am not sure why this dealerships is so sudden. "oh you have to put the order in ASAP!!!!" I go down, give a $500 deposit to ORDER the vehicle to be made and shipped to the dealership. They said hey we put the order in, youre all set! Ill call you in a few hours and set up financing payments etc ..... no call back. I call back a few hours later and they suddenly say "hey we cant order the vehicle its too late to order, but my manager will work on it". Few hours go by ... no call so I call and I ask for peter ... hes out in the lot he'll call you back and they hung up. how are they going to call me back if you didn't even ask whos calling? This happened 3 times ... Absolutely absurd dealership. For the next 24 hours, I received ZERO phone calls and all I was looking for was an update. Being a first time buyer on an expensive car, you think they'd learn some common courtesies but its like talking to two year old children at this dealership. Things also got really weird when I applied for the military discount too .. wonder why. So finally the third day, I head down to Fitz with my friend who also owns the car I WANTED to buy and Peter comes out sweating and smelling like a pig, doesn't even come up and do the basic common courtesy thing of saying "hey how are you, do you want a coffee? lets sit down I have some bad news unfortunately".... he walks up out of breath and says "they couldn't order the car so you cant get it now". Like what the hell ... ? So I ask for my deposit back and how Im upset that no one was updating me and he turns around and points in my face while sweating like a disgusting mouth breathing animal "WE HAVE BEEN REALLY DAMN BUSY ALL DAY AND HAD ALOT OF CUSTOMERS SO BACK OFF" Okay shitstick that's your job congratulations ??? I walked out of there while they were continuously lying to my face about oh we did this and we did that .... yeah well you guys clearly didn't anything so shut up. I can honestly tell anyone if you are ever thinking about going to this dealership, youre better off being carless. You will run in circles and just get poorly mistreated. Especially receiving this lack of care and respect being a USMC vet ... quite disappointed. I hope youre smart and stay far far away from this place. read more

Need a new care? Visit Fitzpatrick's. We are repeat customers. Our family are Jeep owners. The lease on my Jeep Patriot was up. We sent an email to Mark and he welcomed us to come in when it was good for us. He listened to what we were looking for and rather than try to push us in another direction, he worked with us to find the perfect deal. Suggestions rather than preaching about what he thinks we may want. It was great that they were opened late during the week. We drove the new car off the lot last night! read more

I saw a car on line at Fitzpatricks. I called on it and got a salesperson. I asked if it was still available and was told yes. My next question was: Is there any wiggle room on the price? What can they do? (Is that too much to ask?) I was then told the car wasn't really available. It just came in and they hadn't run it thru the shop yet. I said, but it's been on cargurus for 36 days. It hasn't been run thru the shop yet? He said no, and they have to look at it and see if anything needs fixing before they can tell if they can do anything with the price. (I guess they arbitrarily pick numbers out of the air) I replied with, I've been pre approved , I have a deposit in hand. I really like this car, and i'm here , in town. when can I see it? I was told that he would let me know as soon as it goes thru. I checked in again the next day, and it still wasn't ready. 3 days later and it's marked sold. So, I guess they either punish you for asking intelligent questions or they determine they don't like you from your name. don't know, but they'll never have my business or a good word from me. read more

I have bought a Jeep with them in the past and never had any major issues and was happy with the limited service needed but the second time around I wasn't as lucky. I bought a not even 1 year old car with them that is a lemon for sure. I bought the car in April and as of December I had brought the car in 8 TIMES!!! for different issues ranging from little things, like the brake petal falling off, to more major issues like the door not closing properly. I would think that after 8 visits they would have been a little more accommodating with me when I asked what my other options were than to keep dealing with this particular car. Not only did they not offer me what was owed on my car, but they didn't even come close to giving me any kind of deal on a different car. After I did the math and realized there were trying to make more money off me I asked for what I feel was a reasonable solution which was an extended warranty on the lemon. Could they do that... NO. They do not stand behind there cars and frankly don't care if they don't have to. Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed with the outcome and expected more after all the headaches and hassle I have been through the last few months. read more

I visited the showroom to purchase a jeep for my daughter . We received our first call from the son of the owner within minutes of us contacting true cars.com. We decided to visit the showroom to test drive two vehicles -wrangler and jeep. My daughter preferred one over the other. Derrick was our salesman who was extremely professional, no issues with him whatsoever! When we test drove both vehicles they were very low on fuel. I insisted he fill the vehicles with gas before our test drives. When we returned to discuss financial matters things changed. The OWNER was way too busy to crunch numbers for us. There was no one on the store! No one! He was working on his months numbers. REALLY? you own the store and you won't crunch numbers? I have never been so upset with a dealer like these people. I hope the owner and son read this review and make changes. We saw two sales people reading papers, the business manger sitting around doing absolutely nothing but they were TOO busy! Shame on you guys! You let a prospective well qualified person walk out when the economy isn't that great! You would have had a sale. read more
