But when it comes to tile or flooring, it's absolutely terrible. His workers were very rude, very lazy and had 0 time management. We paid 8,000 for a job that I'm completely unsatisfied with. It's only been 2 months and the floors are already separating and lifting. Very disappointed.

The floors no longer squeak. Negative: His guys made gouges on the walls, left a thick layer of dust which we had to mop up (twice), and left their extra materials in our trash can instead of taking it to the dump. One of his guys came back and repaired the walls (which only looks OK, not great.) We spent several hours cleaning and touching up paint after they left. When I told Alan about the various problems, he got defensive and said it never happened. He has called me a liar more than once. He made excuses for everything, and never once apologized or offered to make things right. He also put new molding around my tub which did not stick. Alan said he didn't know how to do that and that's why it wasn't sticking. He didn't send anyone over to fix it. He also told me I refused to pay him for the installation of the tub molding, which is untrue. (He told me he wouldn't charge me.) At one point he said, "I have never had anyone complain about my work." Because of his poor customer service I would not recommend him. I have included some photos from after the install.

From the moment I entered the store, they greeted me with a warm smile and helped me select the correct flooring for my project. They have a wide selection, and the price was very reasonable compared to many other flooring stores I visited in the Valley. They explained the differences between the new laminate material versus vinyl. I decided to go with laminate this time because the vinyl SPC material I had bought from Balboa Flooring across the street had failed in just a few years. The ordering process was simple and easy. They did not try to upsell at all, but instead helped me select the best flooring within my budget. They answered all my questions to my satisfaction and couldn't have been more professional. Lupe provided excellent communication, calling to notify me when materials had arrived for pickup and following up to see how my project was going. The installer they recommended was also experienced and easy to work with. I would definitely return to Your Flooring Guys for all my flooring needs in the future. Thank you, Lupe, for being so kind and patient with me!

The other store's quote made me pause and get a second opinion. Your Flooring Guys pricing for the same products (laminate, floor boards, etc) was so much better! They only sell the product but they will refer installers. We worked with Juan. He and his crew demoed our existing floor (wood and tile), installed all the flooring and baseboard in 3 days! I initially got…read morean estimate from one of the other firms here in town that I've worked with before who had done the other other windows in my house. But I was somewhat dissatisfied with this other firm and their estimate, as they falsely advertised on their website they carried the brand I wanted and instead offered me a cheaper brand/product. I specifically wanted Hunter Douglas window shadings, so I went on their website, and HD pointed me to Jost Carpet One Floor & Home. I'm extremely happy I did this because it allowed me to work with the wonderful people - in particular Wilma - at Jost. Not only did they have an impressive showroom with demos of all the HD products I was interested in, they had swatches for all the colors and possible configurations. Wilma guided me through the process and with just a few questions (What room? Size of the room? Wall color?) she was able to lend her decades of expertise and helped me pick what would suit my windows best. She was professional and involved me in the process despite my limited knowledge. The estimate she gave me was hundreds of dollars less than the other firm and for a higher-end product. I was completely floored by the great service I received from Jost. When it came time to install, one of the installers unfortunately came down sick. Wilma was able to arrange for another installation company to come install on a holiday instead. I'm thoroughly impressed with Wilma, Jost staff, their contracted companies, and every associated with Jost. It's no wonder they've been in business for over 70 years. They are the definition of a high quality, professional, and locally-owned business. I couldn't be more pleased with doing business with such a reputable company. And my windows look great!
