We had Serfer Construction finished a project renovation in a tiny bathroom, laundry room and…read morekitchen that was started February 4, 222 by The Handy Guy, Steve Murtos and which he failed to complete this job in a timely manner as promised plus he never gave us any price estimate for his labor. We paid for all materials from Home Depot ourselves. Serfer Construction took 1 week to complete everything. Today, I cried walking into our rental house we are now selling because the work was done perfectly and as promised. Serfer Construction Hector, Jose and Luis did everything as promised and finished as promised in one week. The Handy Guy, Steve Murtos said he could do everything in a month. Now that was promised to us on February 4, 2022. Yet he NEVER ever completeled anything he started. Then by May 4, 2022 we had to let Steve Murtos, The Handy Guy go. He constantly made "Promises to finish" in March, then promise to finish in April 1st and then promise to finish by May 1st. He NEVER finished anything he started. Steve Murtos AKA: The Handy Guy that let us down a road of promises that never happened. We highly recommend Luis, Hector and Jose of Serfer Construction in Bakersfield for any work you need done. If you need proof of the work just let Luis know. I have pictures from the start in February from the Handy Guy, Steve Murtos and I have pictures of what Serfer Construction did though today. when they finished. Mark n Doreen Jewell. Luis and his crew were very professional, respectful and friendly, he did an evaluation of my central ac system for efficiency and made some helpful suggestions, we determined that a split unit was the most practical and cost efficient way to address the comfort level of this room by having the temperature control localized when in use. I strongly recommend Luis and his team at Pacific Coast Home Remodels for any home projects or remodeling, we are very impressed by the professional and time efficient way they installed the system, clearly explaining the best installation of the unit for maximum performance and aesthetics on both the interior and exterior units . I'm very pleased with the results , the fit and finish looks great and I get to enjoy a comfortable temperature in this room when I use it without overloading my central ac . Thank you Luis and team for going beyond what would be acceptable and making it exceptional service!

My HOA hired Luis to repair some dry rot and termite damaged spots in the exterior of several…read morehomes. Mine was the first he worked on. The results look great! I don't claim to be a construction or house painting expert, but everything was done well. Paint is precise and neat--no random drips, no paint accidentally sprayed on other surfaces like windows, etc. Luis was very communicative both to me and to the neighbors next door. He and his crew were friendly and respectful. And timely. Showed up when he said he would--and accomplished what he said he would. These days when every contractor is so stretched, finding someone who does what you want and completes the job when they say they'll complete the job is a big win! Also, he did two extra things (at least) because he said he felt better about going above and beyond than leaving it just ok (as in the original HOA agreed upon contract). 1. He removed some small unneeded pipes that had not been used for years that he felt might be a tripping hazard. That work required a couple of plumbing parts and some labor--and he offered and completed that out of his own pocket. 2. He also painted the front door just so it would appear as fresh as the newly painted trimwork. Lastly, he and his crew were very careful around some new plantings that I have--not a leaf or bloom was disturbed, stepped on, dripped on, or in anyway damaged. Thank you, Luis! Bottomline, I am very pleased and would definitely recommend more work with Luis and his crew.
