I perused the rows of everything from cacti to ferns, trying to find that perfect gift. If you ever thought for a moment that you don't have the green thumb to sustain life, then an air plant might be right up your alley. The air plant display was aggressive and it allowed a range of sizes from pinky to fist and larger. Not only. Would you find the care instructions on the wall, but there were paper copies to take too. Apparently it's harder than it looks. Plants dotted the windows overlooking the neighboring business and cars that passed. Broad leaves hung boldly overhead and little potted delights sat whimsical on tiny shelves. The whole scene just cried out for a nearby cafe with proximal seating to all this beauty. This is not a bargain shop. It's a little quirky mom and pop with a slim profit margin. This place offers so much in the way of indoor and outdoor plants, pots, and every other plant accessory under the sun. I always manage to find hidden gems in this space and honestly, some of my favorite plants and pots that I've gotten (and there are a lot of them) are from here! The staff is so knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. I brought my friend here who wanted to start getting into maintaining indoor plants in her new home. She picked out a few succulents and a gorgeous pot from Olive's Bloombox and they happily potted all of them into the pot for her to take home. They are so incredible and their stock is constantly changing, so go often & search high and low! There are always some seriously unique gems here that I can never find anywhere else and I love them for it. :)

So on my way back I passed another business and was looking at things in the windows and at the end I saw some plants. So I go in and talked the young lady and she was very kind and helpful and took her time to show me what she had to sell. I picked out three cute little plants and she off to box them together since I was walking. It was a really great experience and look forward to returning again.

He said he could give me an idea of when I'd receive it if I called back then. So how many people ordered after my initial call? Because I called back the next morning, at 8:05, and was initially told there was no way I'd receive it that day, that their delivery schedule was full for the day. I went over my previous day's conversation and eventually I was able to receive my "top soil" that day. I use quotations because it wasn't really the best top soil. At first it looked okay but as we spread it around our yard we were able to see all the rocks in it. It looked like pea gravel was mixed in with the dirt. What am I going to do now that it's all spread out in my yard? I just hope grass grows.

We had water in our basement and our yard sloped towards the house causing excess water to gather…read moreevery time there was a storm. After waterproofing didn't help, we contacted Manu at Grow Earth to see if leveling the yard would help with the problem. He came out to survey and gave suggestions and started to plan. Our project was delayed due to city work on our block but the team at Grow Earth was able to come out right before the first snow and get things squared away. They were quick, respectful of our property, and cleaned as they went. Manu kept us informed of the progress and checked in to see if we had questions or concerns. The completed backyard is beautiful work and we have had no water problems since the install. They were reasonably priced, professional and easy to work with. We were treated like family and were given honest advice. We are so pleased with the outcome and highly recommended them for your landscaping needs.

We worked with Manu and Jason at Grow Earth to lay a brick patio and sod our backyard after some…read moreother construction. The whole team was incredible to work with from the very start. They were able to quote very quickly, and since our back yard was unusable (all dirt!) after another construction project, they fit us in quickly so we could get back to enjoying the results. The project hit a few hiccups - namely a massive buried tree stump and the need to lay some drainage after discovering water pooling - but Manu and his team were able to accommodate and adjust to keep things moving. Finally, the end result looks amazing, and we couldn't be happier with it!
